APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION: Arisu is a young teenage girl. She can be seen as many things but one thing she hears most about her appearance is her angelic features. To many, she can even look like a porcelain doll. Her skin is soft as silk and described as a fair skin tone. Often times, her skin can seem to glow from the Sun's ray, which led to people calling her features angelic. Her arms and legs seem to be the perfect size. She seems weak and fragile. However, she can definitely show that she is strong. Her body is built small and she doesn't have much for curves, which seems to be the reason for people coming to this conclusion. She is also not very tall but that's seen as an advantage in her eyes.
Eyes. Arisu's eyes are a deep green. Some say they are more beautiful than emeralds. Others says they are the color green nature wishes it could have. When the sun reflects off them, people find they sparkle brighter than even the stars in the sky. They sparkle brighter than the sun shining off the bluest of oceans. Some even go so far to say they become brighter than the sun itself. To compliment these eyes, a head full of beautiful soft light blonde hair. To many, it's seen as golden in the sunlight. It also holds waves. Waves that the ocean's cannot even compare to or so she's been told. It's about to her waist, which can be seen as a problem but she takes pride in it. Arisu likes to take very good care of her hair. She believes that all pretty girls have beautiful hair.
Now, what does a beautiful girl like Arisu wear? Well, Arisu loves to wear dresses. Arisu often times finds herself in a sundress. The colors of her dresses varies from pink to blue to green to maybe even yellow. Her favorite is white, which also contributes to her angelic looking self. Her dresses normally reach to her knees and even though she's wearing a dress she decides to wear shorts under them. Her forehead protector can usually be found around her neck unless she feels the need for it to be placed on her forehead. When training or doing tasks, Arisu may weat her hair up tied by a ribbon. On her feet, she wears nothing most of the time. Yes, it is definitely hot in the sandy village, however her feet have become used to the hot sand. There are times where she will wear shoes though.
PERSONALITY: Arisu just like her appearance has a sweet, childish, and kind personality. She loves to make friends and she loves to help people. She loves to show people happiness and never is without a smile. Her smile is as warm as the desert and wants other people to feel the same. She also loves to eat candy. Her mind is always on the positive and is almost never on the negative. Her mind is set to love her village. The village is everything to her. The village is the one place her heart truly lies. However, there are times where she can become a slight bit scary.
Arisu loves people, of course, but sometimes she just can't stand their actions. It is not easy to make this child mad but when you do the warmth turns into the feeling of being melted by lava. Her once soft voice becomes a more sinister sound. Her once sparkling eyes become dark and cold. Her smile becomes something of a thin line that looks like it hold the sharpest of teeth that just might tear you to pieces. At this time, her actions become something that nobody has ever seen from her. Her words become cruel and violence is her number one go to. This girl is not afraid to hurt anyone that has attempted to hurt her or her friends. She is not afraid to show them that they are messing with the wrong girl. Not many things make her mad. The list being if you attempt to hurt her or her friends, abandonment, and anything that messes with her village.
Arisu's loyalty lies to her village. She believes she owes the very place her life. She believes it is the one and only place She can and ever will call home. She would do anything for it. She would do anything they told her. She would do anything they wished. Because of this, She likes to spend her time training and becoming better. The girl resides from no clan so, she believes she has to work harder. She believes she need to show that she's not useless. She just wants to show them who she is and what she's capable of. She won't be counted out.
Even though all of this is true, Arisu is very girly. She loves dresses and looking cute. She loves compliments and loves to wear ribbons. Although she likes to be shoeless, there are certain things she won't step on, which is why she doesn't go shoeless everywhere. She doesn't like things that seem slimy or squishy. She doesn't like bugs or cats. She doesn't like snakes or spiders. She is also very afraid of the thought of the ocean, since she's never seen it. However, she finds a liking to anything to do with sand, even scorpions.
BACKSTORY: Arisu was just a young baby when it happened. She was only a couple months old when that dreaded day came. The day she lost her freedom. The day she was taken away from her home. The day she'll never remember. The day she has no answers for. The day that will always be a mystery.
Let's start from the beginning. Arisu was a young healthy baby girl born into a completely normal family. These people didn't reside within a village nor were they shinobi. They were your everyday average citizens of their own little town. They had no special clan abilities, so their lives were peaceful. They decided to bring this baby girl into the world they found safe and wonderul. She was beautiful and small. She looked as if she were a small child baby toy. She seemed perfect.
This baby was taken through the town everyday. Everyone lived her and she loved them. It was shown through her laugh and smile. She couldn't quite sit up on her own but she could definitely move those tiny arms and legs of hers. She had lots of energy and lots of happiness. This was the perfect girl for anyone to have and this would surely be shown with the terrible act that happened just a few months later.
A small group of travelers were passing through town one day. Everything was peaceful and bright. Arisu had learned how to crawl. Her parents were surprised with how quick she had learned and the travelers were intrigued with the beautiful baby. In the blink of an eye, the child was scooped up. The parents had taken their eyes off of her for a few moments and she was gone. They frantically searched for her. They yelled and ran. They didnt find her. She was already gone. She hadn't seen them since that day. However, she never remembered it.
A few years later, the young child could be seen in an underground area. She wasn't the only one. There were others. They were all her age. They were all taken but they were told they were abandoned. What else could they do but believe it? As payment for being "saved" they did what their "masters" told them. They trained to become shinobi. They worked hard and tried to stay on top or else they were punished. Arisu would never let that happen to her. She would work. She would do as they said and complete tasks that were asked of her. Of course, they never left this small underground area. They lived there. They played there. They worked there. They survived there. The "masters" weren't entirely mean but they wouldn't let you get close. They liked to play mind tricks instead of getting dirty.
Arisu was their favorite. She was small and easy to manipulate. She was their "gold star." They believed that one day she'd do their bidding. They believed she was the perfect experiment for their games. However, they would soon find she wasn't. Arisu knew better but acted not. She was the oldest of the children. She protected them and kept them going. She was their light. They believed what she believed. However, what she believed wouldn't end up well planned.
It had been a while and Arisu knew that nobody would come for them. She believed they were abandoned and because of it they were trapped in this place. She hated it. It was nothing. It was just a hole in the ground. She wanted to get out. She wanted to have a life. She wanted more. So, she would rebel against these"masters." She would cause problems. When all the children caught on, they were locked away and they were left. They were left to die. The men had been,gone,for two days before Arisu figured it out. Where were the keys? She didnt know. How would they escape? She didnt know. All she knew was that they were all each other had.
One of the other kids had broken out of their prison. The door had come loose. This boy had found the keys and released them all. However, Arisu didn't understand why the keys were left and the door looked as if it had been broken. Then, suddenly the last door opened and explosions were heard. The place started falling apart. What was going on? She didnt know. Everyone ran. Arisu knew she escaped but nobody exited from the same spot as her. She didn't know where they were or if they died. She was afraid to look back. So, she kept running. Eventually, she ran into sand. For a girl that never had shoes and always had cold feet, it was hot. It burned her feet. However, she wasn't going to turn away. She walked on. It was a very long slow walk for Arisu. Her feet eventually got used to the sand after they formed blisters and bled. She couldn't feel it anymore. She couldn't feel her feet anymore. They looked terrible but didn't feel like anything.
Eventually, Arisu would collapse after spotting something in the distance. The child was wearing rags. She had nothing else. The girl felt as if her life was over until she felt someone pick her up. Her eyes met a man's face. At first, she was afraid. Then, she heard his voice and saw his concern. It made her smile. He took her to the village, where she was healed and given actual clothing. Her feet never regained their normal feeling again but she gained a passion for healing. She was even given a family. The one who had saved her took her in. He had a wife and a daughter. Arisu came to love them. She came to smile. She came to feel the very love and passion she has for the village now. She finally had a home. However, her mind still thought and hoped for the other children. She also wondered.. why she was abandoned in the first place.
All she knew for sure was her heart was set.
