Classes are basically exactly what you know them to be in other RPG scenes. They allow you to have some sort of specification that not everyone has. For the purpose of being somewhat unique, everyone is to have one class. You can choose to have no class, but after creating your update sheet you cannot go back.
Basically, classes allow the user some distinct passive that they wouldn't normally have. What these passives are depends on the class, but the class itself gets stronger at a rate equivalent to yourself, ranking up whenever you rank up. Passives that increase stats such as granting +1 to ninjutsu do not actually change the user's stats. If you had 7 ninjutsu it would not bump to 8 and only is +1'd while in use. This allows the normal max of ten to be exceeded.
You cannot gain a class until you have reached at least B rank. As an added bonus, if you start without a clan you will be able to get 2 Classes instead of the regular one.

Class Name: Samurai
Class Major: Bukijutsu
Class Description: The Samurai is unable to use Ninjutsu, Genjutsu or Fuinjutsu. They however make up for this skill with an affinity in Bukijutsu as well as Samurai exclusive techniques such as Iaido and Zanketsuken- Passives:

B: 50% Ryo Reduction for Equipment lower than your Character's Current Rank
B: 20% WC Reduction for Training Bukijutsu Skills

Class Description: The Sensor is a ninja that is able to perceive targets from long distances, able to tell exactly where they are.- Passives:

A: Can sense even supressed chakra
S: Ablle to sense anyone within the same land

Class Description: The user is sneaky, able to snatch Ryo out of the pockets of others once per thread. Naturally this must still be acted out IC and the user can indeed be caught.- Passives:

Class Description: The user specializes in healing themselves or allies in the middle of battle, being able to do its swiftly and effectively.- Passives:

A: Upkeep for healing techs can be paid every 3 posts instead of every 2
S: Iryo techs cost 25% Less Chakra

Class Description: This class helps the user perform surgery, though is not recquired when performing surgery. However it increases your odds greatly.- Passives:
