B1 -> N1 = 250 WC: The user can now use E rank techs. The user is now a novice.

Mother's gonna be so proud! kid Saburo thought as he stood before his class to give a quick demonstration of a particularly basic jutsu that they've been studying for weeks now. A young, scrubby boy of eight years, Saburo stood out in front of the class, not only because of where he was positioned relative to everyone else in the room, but also for his distinct foreign features, even more foreign than those of other shinobi lands. But his classmates knew that the kid could not hurt anyone. Though a young veteran of the ghettos, he was likely the poorest kid in the class and looked upon with no particular emotional connection. Well, that might just change today. And father... father will praise me too. He did not have many words to convey to the class, and he would rather allow the teacher to do all the talking. Sensei introduced the Henge no Jutsu, or the art of transformation. Some kids from this village struggled immensely with learning this technique, and it also took Saburo all week long before he could utilize it at a basic level. He strived to better himself, and hope that today would be the day he could make a name for himself with the time he has with the members of his generation during their youth.

He had the person who he wished to imitate in mind. It was stuck to his head, as if he could not get the person out. And no wonder, for the person was in the room. What a surprise the person would receive! His eyes narrowed around a few kids in front of him, before Saburo weaved three handseals very quickly, and ended with the Ram hand seal. Although said to be the most difficult of the Academy techniques, it was a technique that would serve a shinobi well in situations of espionage, infiltration, and information-collecting. Moreover, in terms of physical appearance, the transformed individual would gain some of the properties of the transformed which can be employed in battle, such as a ninja transforming into a ninja tool. As he had formed that hand seal, he consumed the necessary chakra and he shape-shifted. Now, he was taller, with a more masculine and adult-like body tone, donning a brown pony-tail, a Kumogakure headband, and the standard village shinobi uniform. Saburo shifted back soon after the class roared with laughter at the sight of a student transforming himself into the sensei.

Saburo was 10 now, and he had just graduated from the Academy a few months ago. He made immense progress as a Genin, rising quickly in his ability to manipulate chakra, and thus correlate with his Ninjutsu skill. He found discovered a way to mold and manipulate chakra more easily than most basic and even novice users would know. Applying it with a technique he had leared earlier, Saburo wanted to see the fruits of this new method of chakra control. It occured to him that the human mind was the key to the path of a Ninjutsu Master, and that in the mind lies creativity and discipline. Heighten them and combine them together, and what you get out is Ninjutsu skill and chakra control. Out on the training field, Saburo formulated two hand seals. Hand seals were there to help facilitate chakra control, so he weaved them with emphasis on speed, accuracy/form, and order of arrangement. There were only two, so he had his work cut out for him. He arranged his right hand into something like a karate chop and placed the palm over the top/back of his left hand,which was curled into a fist. Dog. Next, his pinky and ring fingers interlaced alongside each other as his middle and index fingers slided against each other, pointing upwards to the sky, with his thumbs placed neatly alongside each other. Tiger. The sequence matters. Now, forming a mental image of the jutsu beforehand, this "preshot Routine" style of jutsu execution increased the effectiveness and accuracy of his technique. His own mental energy that is being channeled into chakra that will produce the jutsu will allow him to use the jutsu at a little higher level. Physical and spiritual energy mixed in together Once those hand seals were formed, he drew the appropriate amount of chakra - though still above what is necessary as he was still a Genin, and molded it through his chakra circulatory system, channeling it through the tenketsu points until it would all be consumed and manipulated to produce the jutsu.

"Haze Clones. Arise from the bowels of the earth", Saburo called out, commanding products of his own chakra as if he were at the head of the soldiers. The good thing as a ninja is that you could play around with your toy creations, in this case - clones, and impress upon yourself an air of superiority and a feeling of confidence. This sense was what Saburo took advantage of to fully enjoy being a shinobi. Twelve haze clone rose from the ground, a stark contrast to the eight clones that he could only produce prior. These haze clones were not different than the E-rank Academy basic clones, but there were subtle differences. As this was a higher level tech and still requires constant chakra burning, the clones would not disappear upon contact. The haze clones are mere hazes, illusions to the human eyes designed to create a "chink" in the enemy's defenses. They are intangible and not physical, deceiving those who see them. But they will continue to deceive and remain on the field so long as the user, Saburo wishes. They can be used for blindsiding as well, and as these clones can perform actions, the real body can command his troops from among the clones, though the enemy would not know which is the real body, as he could have all of his clones do the same exact thing.

The jutsu was a simple application of Yin-yang Release, although the ratio between them are manipulated so that Yin would have a little bit more energy flowing through the jutsu than Yang. That would remove the physical manifestation of the clones but keep the form, while also making sure the clone isn't faded out so one could distinguish between targets. He practiced making formations with his haze clones, mentally giving out commands so that they would follow closely behind and along with him. He even had himself surrounded by his clones so that he could practice being in combat situations. Truly, they resembled him exactly. One clone ran up to him, and Saburo kicked at it, and his attack phased through the clone while the clone phased through him.

A Chunin at the age of 15, Saburo had a more robust body now, adopting a rigorous Taijutsu training regime that helped increase his bodily prowess on the battlefield. He had decided to take a break from that intensity to concentrate back on improving his skill with Ninjutsu. He had already learned how to manipulate chakra, and the proper way of molding it to execute jutsu. Now, he just needed to have greater aptitude at controlling his chakra, and that requires practice and experience. So to do that, he had to return to the chakra training basics. Saburo had in his one one leaf, and this one leaf will set him on the path of evolving into someone adept with Ninjutsu.

As he had reembered from his academy days, Saburo placed the little piece of nature on the top of his forehead, angling his head backwards a little so it could stop up on there. There were two benefits that would come from this basic exercise. Expanding on his previous idea that the human mind is what creates more potent Ninjutsu and allows more effective use of Ninjutsu, Saburo would hone and increase his concentration. By amplifying his own mental focus, his own ability to apply and focus ninjutsu would also increase. To concentrate to the deepest level, nearly attaining Mushin, is the most dificult thing to do even for Ninjutsu Masters. The other benefit is so he could control his chakra more efficiently, and be able to draw out and mold more chakra in order to access higher-level techniques. His eyes slightly pointed up, he channeled a significant amount of chakra to the leaf, using it as a focla point. As an intermediate user going to be an adept, he had to focus his chakra to as close to the midpoint of the leaf as possible, and maintain it. After a minute of serious concentration, what appeared to be a small blob of chakra would be concentrated in the middle of the leaf. Nothing was going to distract Saburo. His mind was both focused and relaxed, aware of his surroundings but also occupied with thinking of only one thing - the leaf. Picturing the leaf and the flow of chakra helped him channel his own chakra there better, and in the end it paid off. Afterwards, he removed the leaf from his forehead after restoring all the chakra back to his body. He walked over to a tree; any tree would do. This was a technique that he had already become familiar with as a genin. Now, he must become adept in it before fully mastering it. Without even using any hand seals, Saburo concetrated chakra to the bottom of his feet, filling it with a thin padding of chakra that would serve as a sort of suction between objects, He was doing well in controlling his chakra already, maintaining it without the need for hand seals. Saburo stepped off from the ground and landed on the tree, and like all people, hoped for the miraculous effect or else he'd have to brace himself. His feet landed successfully, stuck to the tree as some kind of chakra force physics were in effect. He climbed up the tree at the same pace as he usually runs while trying to keep the chakra flow below his feet active. He knew that if there was too little, he'd fall off. He reached the top of the tree quickly, and found that this success was just the beginning. As a skilled chakra manipulator, Saburo had to break the taboo of ninjutsu masters - applying too much chakra. But it was alright here. Forcing out a rather excessive amount of chakra, Saburo rocketed from the tree, stamping down footprints on it. He flew from one tree to the next, but while in mid-air, he skillfully re-focused his chakra back to equilibrium levels, and landed on the next tree with precision. He got off from that tree and looked for a water source. He found a pool not too far from where he was and proceeded to this final stage of his training. This was also another basic technique that he had learned, but it was more demanding than walking on solids as this required a constant focus on chakra maintenance, and failure to do that would mean getting tanked and getting wet. This tested his own mental ability and ability to control chakra effectively at higher quantities. Focusing chakra to his feet, Saburo placed himself on the water. He casually walked around just fine, making sure to keep his chakra levels steady down there. The longer he was in the water, the more he has to concentrate. But his leaf concentration task earlier had prepared him to concentrate on maintaining his chakra levels, as if it was a subconscious ability. Then he made a run for it. Focusing more chakra at the same time, Saburo ran around the water pool starting at half his normal speed. Then, graually, he sped up until he began to get more comfortable moving on top of the water while also keeping his chakra up. As a master, he would be able to do this subconsciously and without effort, and still be able to fully concentrate on doing battle with another enemy. He accelerated himself to full speed now, and it was fine. All he had to do was imagine the water as a steel floor, and he would walk on it as he would with any solid. At last, with a burst of chakra from his feet, he skated across the entire diameter of the pool until he got out of the water, landing back on land. "Yosh!" he praised himself.

Now, he subjected himself to executing a Ninjutsu technique properly and effectively, by practicing the two approaches to creating Ninjutsu - nature and shape transformation. These two define the form, movement, and physical elemental properties of a jutsu. and both derive its proficiency from the creativity of the shinobi mind, as powerful visualization and concentration are needed to formulate higher ranked jutsu. The best way he could apply this would be to use a Suiton, which is very versatile and easy to use manipulate the shape of, and one does not need to concentrate so much on nature transformation because one could also use naturally existing water Forming three handseals along with a clap of the hands, Saburo molded his chakra. He changed the elemental nature of his chakra, giving it a distinct physical property by imagining the flow of the river and the waves. Next, using only his mind and pouring his conception into his mental energy, Saburo visualized the shape of the prison into that of a sphere, and compressed the water manipulated by chakra so it would be able to restrict the movements of an invisible foe. The water from the pool followed Saburo's instructions, and bent its laws of nature and physics to Saburo's commanding will as he grew to become a Ninjutsu Adept. As the water sphere swirled and completed its form, Saburo stuck his hand in it to maintain the jutsu.

A young man of 16 years, Saburo wanted to master the art of Ninjutsu, and join the ranks of the many Ninjutsu masters in his village. He was at the training field near a body of water today in order to improve his jutsu execution skills. Focusing on chakra control as usual, Saburo started off mastering the know-how of jutsu by undertaking the rotational chakra exercise, which was a training regime that focused on shape manipulation to an extent. For some jutsu, chakra has to be prepared before it can be molded and manipualted into jutsu. This preparation requires the user to build chakra within their body by rotating the chakra within according to the rotational affinity that the user possesses. By locking in sync in rotational spin, chakra can be beautifully manipulated into jutsu. Saburo weaved one hand seal and drew some of the water from the nearby pool towards his hands, and allowed it to hover in between the palms of his hands for a short while, before he focused that water into a shape of a small sphere. This exercise, too, required mental visualization in order to utilize higher level jutsu, such as A-ranked techniques like the Rasengan. Cupping his hands on the water ball, he began the chakra session. Drawing in a substantial amount of physical energy drawn from his cells, and an equally great amount from his consciousness and spirit, he created chakra. The mental energy included his thoughts about how to execute the jutsu. Next, he molded the chakra and channeled it through the almighty tenketsu points of the chakra circulatory system, allowing him to manipulate chakra so long as his chakra system was consuming chakra. He changd the nature of his chakra to that of water and channeled it over to the body of water to draw in the water that was infused with chakra. Now, with his ability to manipulate the shape of things, he formed the water into a sphere. Since Saburo had a right hair alignment, he needed a right rotation in order to build and manipulate his chakra with perfect harmony. He spun the water chakra in the water sphere towards the right, and that correlated with his own rotational alignment, allowing him to smoothly spin the ball. This rotational energy gave the water ball more power. He eventually got the hang of spinning the water chakra just by thinking it as he held out the water ball out in front of him with one hand. "HAH!" Saburo called out, and the water ball dispersed into a small puddle of water dripping from his hands. He had disrupted the chakra flow, but that was okay, because he was onto a more complex step. Repeating the same process of he molding the chakra and channeling it through the almighty tenketsu points of the chakra circulatory system, allowing him to manipulate chakra so long as his chakra system was consuming chakra, Saburo change the nature of his chakra to that of water and channeled it over to the body of water to draw in the water that was infused with chakra. Forming it into the water sphere, he was able to make it spin for a few minutes before he decided to see how far he coudl go with his control over chakra. Now, he made the chakra flow "bounce" in all directions, which from an outside view, one could see that the water ball began to do a quirky thing. It began to bend and distort into a blob in all sorts of ways, before at last Saburo cut the chakra flow and it burst right in front of his face.

Now that he has become masterful in controlling his chakra, Saburo wanted to focus on something else. hand seals. It is a method that substituted for chakra control, or at least emphasized concentration on it. He wanted to increase his hand seal casting speed so he could formulate seals faster. Right now, he could only do three in a second. A master should be able to weave five seals within one second. He didn't have a particular sequence in mind, so he just wanted to experiment with different seals so long as he could accomplish them in approximately one second. He placed the palms of his hands on each other, arms parallel from each other while he slid his fingers in nicely as if they were going through a shaft. His thumbs laid flat on the pinkies. This was Monkey. His hands opened up and he cupped the palms of his hands together while his fingers interlaced to make the Snake handseal. Then he formed his right hand into something like a karate chop and placed the right palm on top of his left hand curled into a fist. Then he broke up the bonds between his figners again to form another hand seal - doh! One second had passed already.

Damn it.. Saburo thought. He had to be faster. Truly, this would be easier if he were doing an actual jutsu. That way, he would have done the jutsu sequence already and muscle memory would have taken over as his hands instinctually come together and formed arrangements. But now, he could imagine and think of a seal sequence beforehand and try to replicate that, like drawing on trace paper. He started with just four seals. His wrists and arm turned over as he made two fists and placedhis wrists and blunt faces of his fingers together to make the Boar handseal. At last, his pinky and ring fingers interlaced alongside each other as his index and middle finger slid against each other pointing upwards, and his thumb rested on them. Tiger. It was a little over one second, but there was still progress. Taking an extra second to make a preshot routine of five different seals, Saburo once again had his pinky and ring fingers interlaced alongside each other as his index and middle finger slid against each other pointing upwards, and his thumb rested on them. He formed his right hand into something like a karate chop and placed the right palm on top of his left hand curled into a fist.  His right hand turned horizontal and his left hand turned vertical so he could slide his left hand in with two fingers curled on top of his right hand. Ox. He extended his elbows outwards, had three pairs of complementary fingers grip on each other by the joint, and his index fingers joined to form a triangle while his thumbs went bent and the tip rested on the base of his index fingers. He felt something change inside of him. The flow of chakra was more fluid and smooth, with less inhibitions and the circulation actually moved faster. Although he did not utilize any particular jutsu or consume any chakra, he was still able to mold and manipulate chakra at an improved level. That was five hand seals weaved a little over one second. But now Saburo wanted to do it a little faster than that.

He extended his elbows outwards, had three pairs of complementary fingers grip on each other by the joint, and his index fingers joined to form a triangle while his thumbs went bent and the tip rested on the base of his index fingers. His hands opened up and he cupped the palms of his hands together while his fingers interlaced to make the Snake handseal. His pinky and ring fingers interlaced alongside each other as his index and middle finger slid against each other pointing upwards, and his thumb rested on them. He reverted to a form similar to Tiger, by placing his left thumb on top and his hands stretched vertically to make ram. Finally, he lowered his pinky and index fingers and grip onto each other by the joint, his index and middle fingers touched each other near the first digit tips, and his thumbs rested alongside each other. Once again, something changed inside of him. He felt that his chakras were less inhibited, and were allowed to flow freely and at a higher rate. The inertia and forces of resistance that acted upon a chakra system upon birth and onwards were loosened the more a ninja practiced manipulating chakra, which would of course remove those restraints and improve the ability to utilize chakra and therefore perform jutsu at a higher level. THis made a triangular shape that was Bird. He weaved these seals in rapid succession and with such surprising speed that they were accomplished in just under one second. Now his weaving speed was on par with that of a Ninjutsu Master's.

He sought to perform a difficult task with nature transformation. He wanted to produce his own body of water with his own water chakra efficiently. This was an ability that could only be used by ninja who have ninjutsu mastery and have a primary affinity with Suiton. Saburo wished to accomplish this task, and although he would not produce the same volume with the same potency as the legendary Tobirama Senju, he can still use a strong suiton technique as a follow-up from the water he'd be producing. Clapping his hands together, this allowed him to quickly muster up his chakra flow. Molding chakra into a stream and channeling it through his tenketsu points, he remembered his training by having the chakra spin inside him clockwise, giving his rotational chakra energy by matching the spin with his own body rotation alignment. This allowed him to build chakra in his torso efficiently and effectively. Now, imagining the sound of the waves, and the flow of the river, he was able to convert the chakra nature to that of water; bending and versatile. He channeled all that energy up towards his gullet and out of his throat, where Yin which kept the water in a "spiritual" form inside his body met with Yang Release, which physically manifested the water the moment it could be seen coming from his mouth. Water spilled from his mouth, without any particular force, momentum, or speed. It just kinda spilled out from his mouth like a gush of a current, spilling over to the ground to make a pool of water a quarter of a standard volume for a swimming pool. At last, saburo had reached a great level. He had taken his chakra control, hand seal ability, elemental manipulation, and jutsu execution ability to new levels. With a more efficient and effective skill set, Saburo ended the day and went on to the hot springs in the mountains to cool off and recover his reserves.

Master: The user has full understanding of the field given. The user can use any technique within this field, given that it is not limited and they have trained/purchased said tech. D rank techs are now free. 50% reduction on techs C-A. S ranks now cost 25% less. Techs can do up to 1.6x damage. User can now form seven hand signs in one second. Can train for one handed hand seals.

M1 -> M2 = 700 WC: Can use Techs up to S rank. The user is now allowed to teach techs of this class to others. D rank techs are now free.

A man of 19, Saburo had finally furthered himself beyond the average master of the art of ninjutsu. And as a man who will be taking the Jounin Exams soon, he has to master ninjutsu to the highest degree by being able to access the S-rank level of jutsu. Though his ability to utilize chakra has more or less peaked for now, he can now apply by being able to mold roughly one-fifth of his chakra reserves. That was an absurd amount of his chakra, and to be able to accomplish it efficiently without going over the minimum requirement is something that only a true ninjutsu master can do. Though he was proficient, it was best if he were able to use hand seals for this. He desired to improve on his ability to cast seals as well, accelerating the speed in which he casts them in order to improve his own efficiency in battle. His left hand laid flat on his right fist, hands cupped together, his middle fingers and adjacent digits interlaced while his pinky fingers touched pointing downwards and his thumbs were on top, right hand and left hand slid in at a perpendicular angle, hands slid across each other with the palms touching, pinky and ring fingers interlaced as the middle and index fingers jutted upwards while the thumb laid alongside them, before the index and pinky fingers were released to join their brother and sister middle and index fingers in the same position, signifying the final seal to be a clap of their hands together. While he had successfully weaved seven seals within one second, Saburo had drawn in his physical and mental energy together to form chakra. He had drawn such great amounts than before that he had channeled it continuously through his chakra circulatory system, while also drawing out more and more chakra to flow through his tenketsu points. As he had drawn out sufficient chakra with proper control over it, he had rotated it in the center of his body according to his rotational hair alignment, allowing him to build and spin the chakra within his body as more chakra was channeled to the center. Allowing his chakra to build up more and more, now he had generated enough chakra proper for a S-rank jutsu. Next, he converted all of that chakra to that of water. Beyond just the sound of the crashing waves and the flow of the rivers, Saburo imagined the sea and vastness of it. The blue crystal waters that filled huge pockets of the planet allowed some kind of chakra circuitry inside of him to activate the “chakra genes” should it be said to color the chakra of the Suiton element, giving it the physical properties of real water. Afterwards, it was time to pull out the plug. All of that water chakra jumped from towards his gullet and out his mouth. Saburo allowed the water gush out from his mouth, spraying and spilling all over the ground until it expanded to cover an area equivalent to a standard swimming pool. He was wearing sandals that time, and although the water was right below his ankles, he could still remember the soft cool wetness that drenched his feet. The last drops of water escaped from his lips and Saburo sighed. He had only ⅘ of his chakra left, which was still something to work with. He would deplete another fifth of his original reserves in order to show-case his chakra prowess. Slapping his hands together, Saburo concentrated chakra to a single point of his body. He spun the chakra around within him so that the rotation is in perfect harmony, as he focused more and more chakra by the second. What appeared to be an invisible power aura surrounded Saburo as one would have felt a warm breeze pass by them if they were to approach Saburo. The Basara’s powerful chakras which were inherited by this man, had caused grains of dust to hover along with strands of Saburo’s own hair. He intensified his chakra, showcasing those who see him that he was an intimidating foe to be reckoned. At last, he had build enough chakra that if an adept sensors were to feel his chakra circulation, they would be overwhelmed by one particularly dense point, and be given the illusion that someone strong is approaching them. At last, he reversed the spin of chakra in his own body, cancelling out the chakra effect.

A man of 21 years old, Saburo had gained some momentum as a Jounin. During one particular afternoon, he was resuming his training regime now that he had achieved a very high prowess with Ninjutsu, but his passion and affinity was always with Taijutsu. The sound of smashing somebody’s bones and breaking their bodies is exquisite to Saburo. He wished to do violent and brutal harm to people with his own knuckles and knees. In a close quarters fight, his brutality will give him the advantage, even against other Taijutsu masters of his own grade. With his Stand de-activated, Saburo removed the yellow jacket he was wearing that day to do a few exercises with his black tank-top and yellow leggings on. He chose to lose the yellow spiked boots in order to go barefeet on this one. The track on a level plain on Kumogakure’s mountain was set for him. Although it was kind of bumpy and rough, his feet were durable enough to run on there so long as nothing sharp was in the way to prick it. He set his goal to be a quick 100m. All he had to do was run in a straight line. No need for agility, all he needed was speed and stamina. He wanted to be fast, and fast all the way through. He adopted his start posture. There were no starting blocks, but he didn’t need something solid to back him up. Saburo bent his knees so he was a few feet shorter now, the edge of his butt just several inches from the ground, and supported by his right leg. His right heel lifted off the ground by just a mere inch, a short distance away from his fingers. He planted his left foot just half a step away from the back edge of his right foot, and lifted the heel up by two inches. While looking at an invisible starting line per say, he had this thumb and index finger planted along the edge of that starting line, and laid down the rest of his fingers behind them. He lowered his head, bending his neck but still allowing him to see what laid before him without having to look all the way up his eyes. Saburo waited three seconds, before he lifted his butt and back up. He waited four seconds later, his heart suddenly beating as if he was actually in a sprint race right now with fellow competitors of equal build and tenacity. The adrenaline kicked in as the first tinges of nervousness hit him, causing the vessels to dilate and blood to pump even faster through his body. Start! and off he went. Using his trigger muscles and burst speed, he exploded from his starting position and legs worked quickly to accelerate to full speed within the first two seconds. He ran with improved effciency, with his toes pointing forward and running not on the back but the front of the feet. Knees went up high as they could go and fell back down at a constantly fast rate. and the arms - the arms were important too. They swung back and forth like a pendelumn, muscles supplementing his velocity forward and pushing the air that is dragging up against him away from him. His hands were flat and sharp like a karate chop, which allowed him to cut the air better as his legs carried him through the race. The wind blowed in his face and he could actually hear the nearby trees rustling and the thunder amplifying its magnitude, all of this substituting for the cheer and praise of the crowd. Nature was watching him and raising his spirits. His neck was bent slightly forward while trying to maintain a straight posture, so he could run against the wind better. His breathing was that of a master. To master the breath is essential. He took in two quick breathes of air before exhaling it all out in rapid succession. Sweat bounced from the pores in his body onto the rough flooring, but did not drench his already wet feet. Hormones raged to activate insulin more often, allowing the glucose stored in his cells to be broken and digested to supply him with the food energy that supported human life from day to day. And so, at last, in just under 2.8 seconds, he was able to clear the 100m sprint. An impressive speed to cover that much distance in so short amount of time. Before he had realized it, he had just ran a record average of thirty five meters in just one second.
Saburo did not slow down after crossing the 100m. It was only after he ran a full speed at 110m did he slow down to a crawl, but kept on jogging slowly until he reached 150m. That way, his heart would settle down more efficiently. He was satisfied with practicing speed, but now moved onto strength, which was the important bit here. Saburo’s fighting style revovles around dealing massive physical damage to the enemy, and in addition to being able to hit them, he has to pack enough punch to put someone down with one hit. He found himself a nice tree to play with. His fighting style focused on knocking out the opponent, or otherwise, inflicting external bone-breaking, organ-rupturing damage. With his arms up in a boxing stance, he launched three quick jabs to a tree branch. He snapped the thing. With his superhuman strength, he should be able to smash several human bones with one hit, essentially breaking the limb. He flicked his hand and then pointed his hand as if it were a karate chop facing towards the tree, as a Gouken user would do with their starting stance as if saying to a person “Come on!” The next movement allowed him to focus all of his energy and get it all out. He performed two actions simultaneously. He rotated his wrist while closing his hand into that of a fist, and launched it as a quick, rapid punch. This gave his punch an accelerated drill effect in order to supplement his attack power. His elbow extended out in a rapid burst, and his attack punched right into the tree, but did not reach the other side. He removed his ahnds and exmained the minor scratches that happened to have pricked his knuckles a little. It was alright. because once he stuffed his fist right into the chest of someone foolish enough to let their guard down, his opponent is gonna feel a lot more pain than he will.
He looked at the tree, and was envious that it was still standing. He flexed his muscles and allowed himself to stretch a bit more. Shaking off his injured hand, Saburo decided to go for something more powerful. This next attack produced multiple times more force than a punch and is gonna shatter more bones. It was Saburo’s kick. He positioned himself in the horse stance and had his legs bent, ready to pounce. Beyond extending his leg and concentrating his power to the front padding of his right foot, Saburo also had to combine hip movement in order to shatter through the wood and shove his leg right through the hole he already created and out the other side. Hopefully, he will not break his leg. Saburo jumped, his leg aimed forward. “Dynamic Entry!!” His foot shoved right into the hole and bashed right through the rest of the bark and insides of the wood. A sharp pain traveled through Saburo’s legs, but he was about to take it eaily, for he had imagined the tree to be a real life human and relished in shoving his foot right through their body of flesh and blood. He removed his leg from the tree with some difficulty. His body was tailored and refined to high levels. The art of Taijutsu was his to master, and his strength and speed were only indicators of his true skill.
Saburo went on to find a training dummy, any single one of them so long as they were made out of wood. He saw one, just 50 meters away. Saburo would reach i in just 1.4 seconds. Getting his legs ready again, he jogged in place before bending his head and body angle forward a little, and then took off. Once again, the stress on his muscles demanded more oxygen from the blood, forcing the heart to pump out more blood to circulate around, supplementing the muscles with oxygen. No doubt he was gonna have a muscle knot or two later on. In four or five steps, he crossed those 50 meters, and used that momentum and velocity to accelerate and supplement the power of his fatal kick. Leaping off, he launched a Dynamic Entry right at the face of the dummy. Saburo let out a violent kiai, one that represented his own greed for power and ambition to get to the top of the world, even if it meant taking down the currrent elites. His foot smashed against the head of the dummy, crushing it before it went flying right off from his kick. the rest of the body fell backwards along with it, and Saburo landed somewhere between them. Saburo sighed, clapped his hands together, bowed, and went on home.

The kids gathered for shuriken practice. A vital ninja skill was shurikenjutsu, and so it was taught at the Academy level to all wannabee ninjas. The kids and the instructor, usually a ningu master, were at dummy practice, learning how to properly handle the most basic ninja tools, which includes holding them or utilizing them in combat. As the instructor explained, the point behind the shuriken is to inflict penetration damage wherever it is thrown. It is unlike a dart which only has one tip - the shuriken has four bladed tips through which to inflict damage. The instructor demonstrated how to hold the shuriken, and then with a quick flick of the wrist, the shuriken was able to make it all the heart to where the dummy was, right in the marked heart. Now it was the students turn to practice failing on the dummies. Saburo took one shuriken and held it in his hand. He had two fingers on top of it, right along the outer rim edges of the hole, and another two fingers on each of the portrusions. His thumb was planted below, covering the hole from the bottom. Saburo examined the black metal, as well. He set his sights on where the dummy was, right at the mark on the head. Now in reality a person’s skull would probably prevent the shuriken from penetrating too far. Probably wouldn’t even cut the brain. But that was alright, because the shock and trauma would be enough to befell the enemy. Now to throw. Saburo saw that the instructor merely flicked his wrist, but anyone who knew something about aerodynamics could see in slow-motion what was really going on. With a quick thrust from the elbow and shoulder. Saburo threw it with basic precision and skill. It flew at a rapid speed towards the dummy, and landed right below the neck, where the collar bone would be. Now that’d crack something, but it wouldn’t be anything serious against an opponent.

The next thing was to show the kids how to utilize the cousin of the shuriken. Now this took a little longer because there were two applications to it; to stab or to throw. Students were taught the optimum distance with which to throw the kunai, and when to use it as a handheld tool to fight in close quarters combat. Saburo grabbed one kunai by the handle, and could tell that the bandages around it were worn out. He inserted a finger into the loop at one end and give it a little twirl, before stopping its momentum completely and taking back hold of the weapon. He threw it just like a shuriken, except instead of four, he had two fingers on top. Releasing boh his grip and the finger that was in the loop, Saburoi sent it flying over to where the dummy was, which was right in the skull. Bulls-eye. SAburo walked over to where the dummy was and pulled out the kunai. Now giving it another twirl with a finger over the loop, Saburo grabbed tight hold onto the grip as he would use his driving force to plow the sharp end into the dummy. He gave it a few thrusts before he could say to himself that he gave the dummy some good stabbings. The tip must be chipped and the bark must be worn out from how he tore the thing up. Saburo dispensed the kunai back into the bin as the kids were shown another demonstration. This time it revolved around what was called the fuuma shuriken. All the kids gathered around as an instructor had what looked like a giant knuckle knife in his hand. But with one movement of the finger, what turned out to be one of the four blades of the fuuma shuriken revolved around to reveal the whole thing. The instructor showed the design to the students before he saw a log stump in the distance. Taking stance, the instructor bent low and threw the fuuma shuriken, using one hand to grip onto the hole and then he simply tossed it. The shuriken made it all the way to the log and cleaved an inch to it it before stopping. Now, he gave it to kids to try, but warned them to use them with caution.
Saburo took his closed fuuma shuriken with proud. Just by pulling out the blades a bit, the rest of the three blades automatically revolved and took the form of the fuuma shuriken. Saburo had four fingers on top along the outer edge of the hole rim, and the thumb below. If he threw it with the four fingers on top, the shuriken would carry a lot of force behind it, enough to deal a serious wound into the enemy’s flesh. Saburo bent low and pulled the fuuma shuriken all the way back. Next, he threw it towards the direction of a log, exercising his arm and accuracy. The fuuma shuriken spun rapidly towards the log, veering off course a few times but always it would veer back on track. The fuuma shuriken was able to strike the log from an angle, toppling it over as it was able to cleave right into the wood.

With an appropriate teacher, the user can learn techniques up to A rank. The user will receive a 20% discount on all techs in this class.

I1 -> I2b = 300 WC: The user can now use B rank Techs
I2 -> I3 = 350 WC: The user now 1.2x faster with a weapon, higher in perception and aim than that of the average.

After the fuuma shuriken, the instructor demonstrated to them how to use the giant shuriken. Now the giant shuriken was less aerodynamic, but it carried a lot more force behind it. Therefore, the instructor didn’t even expect that the kids here would even be able to lift one up, so it’ll be all for demonstration. The hole was proportionally small with the rest of the mass, so throwing it would require above-average eye-to-eye coordination and aim. Saburo was likely the most fit of the class, so he was able to take one of these giant shurikens and replicate the instructor’s movements. Throwing it is similar to a normal shuriken, but you’d have to release it earlier and just allow the winds to pick up from there. Following this instruction, Saburo took hold of the giant shuriken and released it towards the other side. He didn’t aim it anywhere particular, but the giant shuriken just rotated through the air. Saburo could even hear the air thumping every time it made a complete rotation. At last, it landed on the ground, with one spike piercing into the hard ground. Next up was senbon training. These little ninja needles were usually used for and in surgery, but its applicability in combat was quickly picked up on. It was often effective and lethal as surprise attacks. Saburo picked up three of these three-inch darts made of a glinting metal. He had placed three of them in one hand while he extracted one of them. Picking this singular senbon by three fingers, he held it with two fingers along one side and the thumb along the other. He would throw it like a dart too. Aiming it at a tree, Saburo simply flicked his wrist and let go simultaneously, sending the senbon towards the tree but falling short by just two meters. He tried another, feeling the metallic tone of the senon as it was caressed under his fingers. Flicking it in an instant, the senbon zoomed through the air, and landed right at the base of the tree, near where the roots were coming out of. He had his last needle in hand. Without pulling much effort in drawing it back, Saburo had it angled so he can just flick his wrist and elbow without moving his shoulder too much, sending the senbon right into the middle trunk of the tree. The final demonstration of the day involved wire-work. Saburo took a 30-meter long piece of wire string. The string was thin, nearly invisible except for occassional glints to the human eye. It was very elastic and highly durable for its material. It was also strong and can be employed at high speeds. When channeling chakra through it, it can do all kinds of things that a wire string should be able to do. Saburo ran a thin stream of chakra through his - the output was almost negligible, not even noticeable unless someone picked up the faint vestige of his color flowing through the wire string. Running into the forest, Saburo learned to experiment freely. He jumped from one tree branch to another, but at one point while he was in mid-air, he made what appeared to be a lasso with his wire string and tossed it over to a nearby branch. The end of the string circled around the branch several times, hanging a series of loops around it until there is a grip. Upon feeling the grip, Saburo was able to use it as a rope and he reeled himself to another branch. With a tug, he was able to loosen the grip and unloop the string tied around the branch, allowing the rest of the string to recede back to him. Well, that was all of the ninja weaponry taught at the Academy. Cancelling out the chakra flow in his wire, Saburo returned to where the bin was, feeling that his eye-to-eye coordination, muscle memory, throwing skill, aim and precision have all increased quite a bit by dabbling in an assortment of different ninja tools that he may or may not use in battle.

Sensory is the ability to locate other ninjas in the surrounding area. This is usually used with the basic sensing techs, though custom techs can be made. Sensory and masking techniques must be trained or purchased.

Basic: User cannot mask their chakra or sense others.

B1 -> N1 = 100 WC

Novice: User can mask their sense from those of Basic sensory. User can sense up to 20m with Sensing.

N1 -> N2 = 150 Words; User can now hide from Basic sensors
N2 -> N3 = 200 Words; User can now sense 20m
N3 -> I1 = 250 Words; User is now Intermediate

One day when Saburo was coming home from school, he decided to try his hand at a fortune teller’s after being lured in. To his surprise, he found that he had an innate talent. Something about being able to tune into the frequencies of other souls or something like that. When he revealed to his classmates about it, they said it could only mean one or two things: You’re being bullshitted, or you’re a sensor type! Sensory shinobi are relatively common in Kumogakure; nobody quite knows why. FOr the most part, they are born naturally more attuned to being able to detect the very presence of chakra than other people, and some don’t even realize it for an extended period of time until they begin to develop the skill themselves. In order to perceive chakra, one has to learn how to hone on to it. Saburo positioned himself in a hiding spot in a public park. He could see a few people there, a couple having a picnic and two elderly women having a chat. Saburo closed his eyes and formulated the Ram handseal, placing one hand wrapped around over the other. This allowed him to focus his chakra so he can attune his senses to other chakra in the area. He began to imagine the “image” of chakra. The almighty every-flowing energy that stems in all life, chakra was a mix like Yin-Yang of physical and mental energy. This energy mixture was often described to be “yellow” in color, so he imagined chakra to be something like an ever-burning flame colored yellow. Next, he tried to imagine the very feel of chakra. What did chakra feel like? Only a sensor would know, so he would too. He imagined the energy to be something that was slippery, but did not have any physical durability to it. After all, chakra was energy and physically it is no different than an abstract. So while focusing his senses and attuning his own natural feel to the people near him, he tried to visually feel the “warmth” of others, for chakra can connect everyone’s soul together. A sensor must tap into that concept in order to use their sensory skills to optimum levels. He tried to focus in on everything as a whole, spreading his sense of awareness to as far as his mind could possibly reach, to as far as his imagination could take him. And it was then, did he began to feel a pulse. It was a gentle pulsation sensation. But then he began to feel heat. This heat was something he felt warming up along his skin, a warmth that he had never felt before.This warmth grew warmer the more he attuned to it. It wasn’t before long before he felt six different kinds of these pulsating warmths within a 20meter radius of him. Saburo came to understand that what he was feeling were the chakra presences of the people around him. He couldn’t tell how big they were or discriminate between them, but he could pinpoint the position and dsitance from where they were. He could feel the chakras of the couple and the chakras of the elderly, which was slightly more faint than what he felt with the couple. He also felt two more chakra presences that seemed to be even weaker, or at least different, than the elderly friends or the couple. He began to realize that he must be feeling the chakras of two animals, likely squirrels, around him. And then, the chakras of the animals faded from his area of perception, which told him the range of his sensory abilities. They weren’t huge, but at least Saburo has taken the first step as a sensor type shinobi. Saburo broke up the hand seal and then opened his eyes, the warmth he was feeling fading from his senses. It was marvelous, tuning into the chakras of others. He felt like a dirty spy, a perverted being who discoverd a power who could be abused. But he has joined the ranks of unique people in Kumogakure who can benefit the village with this newfound power. It was all about refining it, strenghtening it, and using it right.

Adept: User can now mask their chakra from those with Intermediate sensory. User can sense up to 100m

Now that he was older, Saburo decided to revisit the convenient support skill of chakra sensing. He had found that sensing was a common supplementary skill in many shinobi’s arsenal, and felt that in order to stand out, he had to really improve on it so he can not only surpass their sensing capabilities, but also prevent himself from being snuffed out by these dirty little perverted spies. He decided to work on one particular sub-skill of his ability today, which was suppressing his chakra. He had to learn to put a “cloak” on his chakra levels, restricting the amount of the chakra that a sensor could sniff out to the minimum. And then, he must learn how to completely mask his chakra presence, preventing his chakra from being sensed totally. He had a Shadow CLone assist him in this process. Saburo hid himself in an area 30 meters away from the clone, and at first allowed his clone to sense his chakra in its entirety. He would then use the experience gained when he disperses his shadow clone in order to stimulate from an enemy sensor’s perspective how his chakra levels changes when he suppresses his chakra. After all, he doesn’t know whether or not he is successful in suppressing his chakra. Without using any hand seals, he will learn how to mask his chakra simply by putting a little effort into it. Saburo stood still, allowing his arms to fling by his side. He imagined the feel of his chakra, focusing on it as if he was pulling out a Word document right in front of him. His chakra was like a flame, glowing and burning. Saburo loosened his breath, minimizing it so that it was calm and quiet. Next, he dulled the color of his color, weakening the signal that it’d give out and making it more faint in color. Next, he stopped the movement of his chakra visualized before him as a flame. It burned like a flame, but he had to make it stand still, restricting its movement so it’d be nothing except one still geometric shape before him. He imagined it, constricting the flailing movements of his chakra flame until he could imagine it as completely still. Now there were no fluctiations in his chakra. His chakra had seemingly become nothing more than a dead mix of physical and mental energy, unable to be sensed. Finally, he simply imagined a cloak over his still chakra flame, the cloak snuffing out flame completely. This was just a metaphoric comparison for him masking his chakra, as by now he should have completely suppressed his chakra from being perceived by his clone. The downside to this is that he himself would not be able to use chakra sensory abilities. Fortunately, he is still able to use jutsus to their fullest potential, although the moment he manipulates his chakra, he will be sensed once again, so this will hardly help in a surprise attack unless he executes the jutsu quickly. Saburo dispelled his clone and had all of the experience come back to him. From his clone, he could see that at first the chakra presence dwindled when Saburo dulled out the color of his chakra. The sensing signal became faint and weak, and when he imagined it as a still shape instead of energy circulating through his chakra system, the clone lost the ability to pinpoint the location of the chakra presence, nor could it tell what it is except that it was just chakra - a weak and faint chakra. This would not allow enemies to tell how strong he was. And then finally, Saburo literally snuffed out his chakra presence. This cancelled out the clone’s ability to feel his chakra, erasing his presence from his clone’s perception field. It was a success. Next, he decided on refining his chakra sensing skills. He had come at a new technique, one that was tailored to utilize one’s sensing abilities to their peak. It was called the “Mind’s Eye of the Kagura”. This technique made it easier for a sensor to perceive chakra by offering a better visualization method in order to feel chakras. By imagining a third eye on one’s forehead, one can tap into the concept of the “mind’s eye”, an abstract sixth-sense available to sensors which they can open and focus in order to better concentrate on chakras. At the very least, he could sense chakras within a 100m radius of him. Forming the Ram handseal, Saburo imagined the third eye on his forehead - closed at first, but then he opened it. As his chakra was being focused, this allowed him to focus his mind’s ability to tune into the warmth in other’s souls to its possible peak. Now, he entered a whole new world of perception. He could see everyone’s chakra colors, and discriminate between the unique colors that everybody has. The chakra color enables him to identify a person, and he was able to see his own as well. Shades of red, blue, green, margenta, yellow-green, and pure-white appealed to him. Furthermore, he could tell exactly how much chakra a person has, and could detect a Jounin-level walking nearby. He could pinpoint location and distance. Imagining chakra as a humanoid shape, he could even detect minute details such as the movements a person is making. He can tune into a person’s chakra flow and can even vividly see their chakra circulatory system. Chakra was amazing, and he can tell whether or not someone was in a genjutsu or if they’re in the process of using a technique.

Now that he was an accomplished sensor, Saburo decided to offer his services to a friend. Apparently he had been suspecting that his girlfriend is cheaing on him. Now, Saburo, a rising Daitaishou, would love to offer to help a friend. So long as they remember to pay back the debt someday. Anyway, his friend suspected that his girlfriend is lying and that she had been cheating on him. Knowing that Saburo is a ninja, he asked to find out whether or not she was lying. Saburo knew that chakra sensing allowed him to detect sensors, so he agreed. After all, people like him are nothing but perverted spies anyway. So he was sitting in a bench facing the other way from where the couple was. THey were sitting in a cafe, without too many people around and without too much noise so that’d be no background interference. Saburo could hear from ten meters away what they were saying. So when his friend asked his girl whether or not he was cheating on her, Saburo immediately formed one handseal and opened his mind’s eye, focusing in on the girl’s chakras. He listened in on her chakra flow, feeling the chakra running through the chakra circulatory system. In order to detect a liar, he could sense fluctuations in her chakra flow. Stress and anormally high pulse rates could create an imbalance in one’s life energy. Now naturally an alarmed and angered girlfriend who had to repeatedly deal with accusations of her cheating would also create such imbalances. But for there to be a severe imbalance in her chakra level, a girl must have a guilty conscience to her. Saburo was able to sniff this out because the mental energy from that guilt would be poured into her chakra, and Saburo would detect that. Saburo was able to detect a wild shift in her chakra flow. The guy asked her again, and the girlfriend replied with a stern no. He sensed an even more wilder shift in her chakras. The boyfriend asked one last time, asking the girlfriend to swear that she was not cheating on her. The girlfriend said no once more and they argued. All the more Saburo could tell from the fluctuations in her chakra flow that something was off with what she was saying. When it was all over, Saburo revealed what he had found to his friend. His friend thanked him and decided to break it off with her. Saburo earned an indebted friend, and greater demosntration of his sensory skills.

A week later, he went on to become a master adept sensor. In order to do that, he must learn how to sense without the use of hand seals. He still needed hand gestures, concentration of chakra, and some effort in tuning in to focus on chakras. But he need not bring his hands together in a formation or use some mind’s eye. With an almost-mastered sensory skill, he must be able to tune into chakra using quick effort with the same effect. In Kumogakure’s Sensory Corps, the leaders often call this “Finger Sensing”. Saburo positioned himself under the shade of a tree. The ground was hard, covered in grass, and there were plenty of people running around. Some people were right next to each other holding hands. Some were literally on top of another, riding on one’s shoulders. Some were clsutered into one, compressed group. And some were scattered all over the place. Saburo crouched down low, bending his knees so his ass was just one inch above the ground. He closed his eyes and then placed one finger on the ground. The tip of his index finger made contact with the hard ground. As an adept sensor, this allowed him to focus his sensory abilities through one point. The technique allowed him to heighten his sensitivity to chakra, allowing him to better perceive it simply by spreading his awareness around a really wide place such as the one he is in right now. He imagined an energy line emanating from his finger, acting as a sensor signal and had it spread to a 100m radius from him like a sonar wave, sensory ripples echoing throughout the area to carry Saburo’s sensory abilities. This took some time, approximately eight seconds for him to concentrate on the chakras around him, focus in on them, and then receive full feedback. Opening his eyes, Saburo understood what he had detected. He had sensed about thirty-six chakra presences in the field around him. He could pinpoint the location and distance away from him. He could still see the chakras as humanoid shapes, allowing him to detect movement such as which direction they were going and at what speed. He could still discriminate among chakra colors, and detect chakra amounts. Approximately, there should be eight Jounin-levels, three Chunin-levels, and ten Genin-levels around him. He could still sniff out chakra flow, allowing him to detect if a shinobi was using jutsu or molding their chakra, though he can’t pinpoint fluctuations so well to tell their emotional state unless they were within 20 meters from him.

Adept: User is better than average in the given field and is able to use techs up to A rank. E rank jutsu are now free, requiring no jutsu cost. Techniques D-B will be reduced by 30%. A rank techniques will be reduced by 15%. Techs are now 1.4x stronger than that of the average. Can now seal human bodies (if dead).

A1 -> A2 = 1000 WC: E rank techs are now free. Techs D-B are now 30% less chakra cost.

Saburo unrolled the scroll right in front of him on the ground, allowing the parchment of paper to extend to its full length of three meters. It was blank, but this scroll was able to conduct chakra, and was no different from the ninja combat scrolls used to store ninja tools. As an adept Fuuinjutsu user, Saburo has to learn to write his own seals to create his own effects. He had with him a brush and a vial of ink near him. With a stroke, he dapped the tip of his brush into the ink a few times, smearing it on the strands. Then, he began to draw on the scroll. The first step to seal-writing is to draw out the seal on the scroll using ink. In the center of the scroll, Saburo made a neat black circle. Next, he drew out sixteen lines; each line stretching out from the circle and each equidistant to each other along the circumference of the circle. But these lines were not mere strokes of the brush, no, Saburo had to actually put a little artistic effort into them. Each line was crafted using various kanji symbols, each having at least ten kanji letters that depicted the elements. After he had formed the seal symbol, he would write out the kanji letter for “Iron” in the middle of the circle, right in the blank space. After he had done this, the brush was tossed aside. Saburo molded chakra inside of him and channeled it to his fingertips and he placed his fingers right on the paper, allowing the conduction of the seal to permetaed throughout. Chakra infused into the ink, changing the black color into something glowing red, like that of a burning flame. This subsided after a few seconds, and Saburo’s seal was completed. He had written up the seal for the “Iron Armor Seal”, a powerful fuinjutsu developed in Kumogakure to seal Bijuu into human beings. Saburo rolled the scroll up, as he would be called upon to apply the seal whenever a jinchuriki needs to be developed in the village. Next, he took out another scroll, one smaller than the one he had, and unrolled it. He began to paint a circle as well as symbolic lines that diverge from the circumference of the circle out of kanji letters. These letters could be anything, and included the symbols for “heaven”, “earth”, “fire” , and “water”. Finally, with two strikes of the brush, he painted the main seal in the circle. Once the seal had been written, Saburo went over to the morgue. He had to test out his sealing abilities on a cadaver. Finding a rather grotesque dead human body, Saburo settled the scroll down while the body was resting on a table. He formed three handseals ; fingers interlocking and breaking up to initiate the sealing jutsu. Placing the palm of his hand on the circle and running chakra through it, the chakra from the seal jumped towards the dead body. The dead body seemed to have glowed for a moment before it was pulled towards the center of the circle, seemingly converging on itself to fit into the circle where the dead body is now sealed away inside the scroll. Next, he formed a seal and de-activated the sealing inside the scroll, allowing the body to be released back onto the table. The medics would thank him.
Saburo then went on to write up another seal formula. This time Saburo made a circle but diverging from the circle were six kanji letters. In the middle of the circle was the kanji for iron. After he pumped chakra through the ink, supposedly with this seal, he could seal an object with another object of his liking. But as he was going to be more adept as a Fuinjutsu expert, he has to learn how to counteract high-level seals. This is known as the “Five Pronged Method”, which involves putting an odd-numbered seal onto an even-numbered seal in order to create a chakra imbalance in order to prevent the seal from working properly. Saburo painted kanji letters on each of his fingers, using the thin tip of his brush to draw the symbols for “metal”, “wood”, “fire”, “water”, and “earth”. Once each kanji letter was on his prints, he began to infuse chakra through them, the chakra conducting the seal and its effects. Saburo placed his fingers like that of a claw on the circle that he drew with ink, and he was able to burn the five seals onto the circumference of the circle, between each of the kanji letters that originally diverged from it. Now Saburo formed a few handseals and placed the palm of his hand infused with chakra on the kanji symbol for Iron, trying to activate the seal in order to initiate the sealing process. Nothing happened. Indeed, the seal had been effectively neutralized into nothing more than ink on paper. Now he had to unseal the Five Pronged Seal. In order to do this, he wiped off the ink on his fingerprints by washing it off with water. Next, he simply redrew the kanji letters that were on his finger tips, but this time he painted them in the reverse order of when they were drawn. Running chakra through them, he implanted his fingers right on the seal circle just as he had done previously. When he lifted his hand, he saw that the Five Pronged Seal had faded away, returning the seal formula to how it looked originally. Saburo wrapped up the scroll as he knew that he had enough of writing up seal formulas for today. He did have one important thing to do though. On the scroll containing the Iron Armour Seal, Saburo infused chakra to his hand and wrote a few kanji letters on it. The chakra was left burning on the scroll as it took shape to form something, but then the burning settled down revealing that Saburo had signed his name on the scroll by basically imprinting it with chakra.

Genjutsu is the art of using chakra to manipulate one's mind. It should be noted that while under a Genjutsu that transports one's mentality, they are not allowed to be attacked by the caster of the Genjutsu. Any acts doing so will be considered godmodding.

Basic: User has no training, receives no discounts, and can only use no jutsu within this class. The user is extremly vulnerable to genjutsu.

B1 -> N1 = 250 WC: The user can now use E rank techs. The user is now a novice.

Novice: User has light training, meaning they can use the most basic of the basic techs. The user is able to use techs Rank E to C. The user will receive a 10% chakra discount on all techs of this class. Techs do regular damage.

N1 -> N2 = 150 WC: The user can now use D Rank Techs
N2 -> N3 = 200 WC: The user can now use C rank Techs. The user will receive 10% Chakra discounts on E-C rank Techs. While using Kai release, the user is able to break out of 1 layer of Genjutsu up to B Rank.
N3 -> I1 = 250 = The user is now intermediate level.

Saburo was at the Academy, learning the basics of possibly the most difficult ninja specialty of all: Genjutsu. Techniques said to require great intellect and chakra control, Genjutsu users diffuse their chakra as a foreign invader into the chakra flow of a target’s brain, allowing them to manipulate the five senses, most commonly visual illusions. Typically, this is a great supplementary skill to have in battle. Specialists are even able to distort the senses beyond any of the basic five sensory systems that a person has. As Saburo learned, genjutsu masters are highly valued in the village because they can often paralyze an opponent with illusions or even able to hypnotize them, granting them a degree of mind control or sleep inducement. For a grunt like Saburo, who probably doesn’t even have any talent in genjutsu, he won’t be using it in battle much, if at all. But still, it is required that all students be able to put their sensei in an illusion, which is what Saburo had to do. In one demonstration, he stood just eight meters away from his instructor. As taught by this man, genjutsu was an application of Yin Release. Genjutsu is nothing but illusions, and Yin Release governs the imagination, allowing the user to create form out of nothing. When applying this on an opponent, the user can create distortions in their senses, most commonly visual illusions that come out of nowhere. Thus, it can be rightly said that simply by imagining the illusion in their own head and channeling it to an opponent, the mental energy that composes the chakra that infects the brain’s chakra flow will carry out the effect of the genjutsu as it also directly affects the opponent’s senses. To display his skill, Saburo weaved four handseals: Rat, Ram, Snake, Tiger. This allowed him to mold his chakra and manipulate it freely. Imagining what he is going to put in the opponnent’s head that they will see, Saburo applied Yin Release through his chakra, and made his chakra as something like a bacterial agent, where it is simply a medium through which the real thing will insert itself into the target. He ejected a portion of his chakra from his body and had it stream towards the target’s brain area instantaneously. His chakra mixed into the chakra in the brain, mixing the two colors together, and allowing him access to the opponent’s five senses. And here the genjutsu activated itself. As he could simply control the illusion by imagining it and manipulating his chakra inside the opponent, he invaded his sensei’s sense of sight and pulled up false images and hallucinations before his very eyes. His sensei would see appearing out of thin air, out of nowhere, a strawberry cake in the middle of the table. The cake was on a round silver plate, and Saburo made sure to make details of the cake as vivid as possible to make it realistic. The frosting was white but the sponge itself was a delightful pink. It wasn’t an ice cream cake or anything, but on top of the frosting were three small strawberries. Saburo did not forget to put the leaves on the stems of the strawberries and made sure to include seeds in his phantom illusion. His sensei, deciding to go for the bait, lunged for the illusionary cake and found that he slipped right through it, unable to taste the savory treat. His sensei passed him, even though Saburo was not able to fool sense of smell to create the cake’s aroma, nor give the cake any of its mushy tangibility, nor give the cake a taste should one ingest it. He passed as a shinobi if he understood the basics of Yin Release and use of visual illusions. But in addition to creating things out of nothing that is Yin Release, Saburo wondered if he could really trick an opponent. He wanted to distort, to change something when something did not notice a thing. Saburo formed a few hand seals once more and inserted his chakra into sensei’s chakra flow once more, allowing him access to manipulate the five senses. This time Saburo used one of the basic Demonic Illusions - the False Surroundings technique to be precise. With this, he was able to change a chair next to the instuctor’s task into the desk itself, and masked the real desk from visible existence. Thus, he basically changed the position of the desk. The sensei, not noticing this, decided to go over to take a seat. Without taking his chair, he simply plopped his ass right on a random spot on the top of the task…. only for him to slip right through it and fall down! Saburo immedaitely cancelled the illusion, changing the desk back into the chair and revealing the real location of the desk once more. The sensei stood there puzzled, wondering how he could have possibly hallucianted in the middle of giving out instructions ,when he realized that a student must have taken a genjutsu trick too far. While he was yelling at the class beckoning for the culprit to reveal himself, as well as giving a loud lecture on the responsibility of one’s learning and abuse of power, Saburo was hiding a grin on his face as his class roared into laughter at the prank that had just occured.

Intermediate: User has adequate training in this field, allowing them to use more complex techniques. The user can not use techs up to B rank, allowing them to further utilize techs of higher ranks. With an appropriate teacher, the user can learn techniques up to A rank. The user will receive a 20% discount on all techs in this class. Techs now do 1.2x more damage than that of the average.

I1 -> I2b = 300 WC: The user can now use B rank Techs. While using Kai release, the user is able to break out of two layers of Genjutsu at once, up to B rank.

As he had become more familiar with genjutsu, Saburo decided that he had to try out what was the real reason as to why he’s spending time dabbling in the illusionary arts in the first place. One needed to understand and be able to practice genjutsu first before one learns how to counter it. Saburo only cared about breaking out of genjutsu and nothing else. He knew that there were several ways of getting out of an illusion. Pain was one generic way, and the more powerful the genjutsu, the more pain is required to knock someone back into their senses. Saburo was willing to stab himself repeatedly in order to deal with genjutsu. Another method is through the use of doujutsu, for it allows the user to visually see the chakra spectrum. Saburo had to be particularly cautious of the Uchiha, for he knows that they excel in using ocular genjutsu, which are illusions that are casted simply through eye contact. He had figured out a way to counter that anyway. A thought had occured to him and he realized that he could also recognize whether or not he was in a genjutsu with his sensory abilities. He could analyze his own chakra flow if he’s not so familiar with genjutsu that he does not realize that he’s under an illusion. But he does not care for implants, and knew that there was a way that shinobi developed. This was the Kai ~ Release Method. Simply through force and mental effort, one can quickly stop their own chakra flow, preventing an opponent from further manipulating their senses. And then, by concentrating one’s willpower, they disrupt the caster’s foreign chakra in their body, dispelling the genjutsu immediatley and returning them to their senses. This has to be practiced to be done instantaneously, especially returning one’s chakra flow as quickly as possible in order to be able to use jutsus again. All Saburo needed to do was put in mental effort, concentrate his chakra, think, and he can dispel even high-ranked genjutsu. Forming the Ram handseal, Saburo concentrated his chakras and then had it stop as if he was turning off the gears that ran some kind of machinery. He held it there for a few seconds, purging his own chakra system via chakra control, and then released his grip, which allowed the chakra flow to resume flowing normally.
