He knew that he was on the tip of the iceberg when it came to advancing his skill in Genjutsu to the next level. According to standard ninja guidelines, he would be considered an adept in Genjutsu and would now be able to perform A-rank techniques with the mastery he possessed. Finally, after endless hours of chakra control practice, the fruits of his training were starting to show!
Honestly, he didn't care about being an outcast because, well, he thought most Uchiha were idiots anyways. But, to avoid suspicion being brought to himself, he had to blend in more. He couldn't practice any type of crazy arts in public if he wanted his shroud of innocence and stupidity to affect his opponents.
Itome was dressed in his casual outfit he often worn when he wasn't on duty, with his headband placed on his forehead like usual. It was ten in the morning, and the air was cool, and the sky grey like it usually was. It looked like a thunderstorm could happen any minute, but to the inhabitants of Kumogakure, this was quite normal.
The training field he was located in was mundane and empty, just the way the Uchiha preferred it. Five meters away was a wooden target dummy where he would practice his chakra control, and thus practice his ability in Genjutsu. The training regimen was simple. First, he would begin warming up by firing weaker, easier to control jutsu like his Gunshot technique, or the academy jutsu. Then, he would gradually work up towards the most powerful jutsu in his arsenal.
First, he would focus his suiton chakra, making sure not to waste any of it. Then, he would form a single handseal, the Tiger, and from his mouth would expel a glob of water capable of piercing rock. It was obviously able to kill humans, and for such a low chakra cost.
The glob of water blew the head off of the wooden dummy, leaving Itome satisfied with his work. Even though he hadn't been practicing hard with his Ninjutsu lately, it still hadn't lost its potency.
For the rest of the day, he would work on his chakra control, ruining the training field with his large scale jutsu. Honestly, he felt kind of sorry for whoever had to clean that up. Well, not really...but, once the sun went down, he went hone to go and rest so he could regain his chakra.
