Sitting on the bench outside of the academy was Nonu Uzumaki, all alone with no one around. He was eating what looked like ramen in a cup with absolutely not a soul in sight. Grey and Shousha were the only ones who happened to be walking by and couldn't help but stop in front of the boy while he was doing so. He was wearing a blue shirt with white edges and a collar that formed a V shape. His hair was still short from last time with his headband on his forehead, slightly lowered due to him bowing his head to eat his noodles. The band covered his eyebrows completely. Under his shirt was a dull brown shade of pants that seemed too loose for him. They were held up by a dull black belt that helped his shirt stay tucked in. He seemed to look formal, but it was not a good formal. Grey himself wore a black coat with a white tee shirt that was untucked on top of a pair of blue jeans sporting a chain on the belt loops. He wore white sneakers that had been dirtied up on his feet. Shousha wore his headband on his neck and a black shirt with black pants and brown shoes. The clothes on the Uchiha seemed to be a bit tighter than that of Nonu.
Looking up from his food, Nonu began to speak to the brothers. "What are you doing here?" He would ask them simply with the same apathetic face that he had held since the moment he met the likes of Grey Uchiha. The younger of the two Uchiha just smiled at the guy and waved in his direction.
"Just passing through man. This is on the way to the market. I'll be honest and say I didnt exprect to see you here." And on that note the Hyuuga hybrid stood and approached Grey. He began to speak but the Chunin could not believe the words that were coming out of his mouth.
"I would like you to teach me how to perform Ninjutsu. I no longer wish to become aa Taijutsu specialist." And with that the jaw of the Uchiha dropped, and not just Grey, the both of them. However SHousha's was only metaphorical. He supposed that the boy had finally decided to swallow his pride and allow someone else to help him, knowing that the people who generally practice Gentle Fist were those who did not so willingly acknowledge the art of any style other than that of Taijutsu.
"I would be happy to help you I suppose." In the back of his mind Grey felt as if this was all a trap. He knew that Nonu was very not fond of him, but maybe there was a chance he was adapting rather than become a hate filled monster. He did allow Grey to help him up the other day, and maybe that was the start of something new.
"The first thing you need to learn to do is focus chakra. Its a bit more difficult than you would think. The way I learned was to focus all of my energy inside my body as long as possibe. For you, since you're keen to Taijutsu, you could normally focus energy within your fists, but for now, try to aim that energy into your heart, deep within your chest." Nonu borugh both of his hands together against his chest with the knuckles falling on top of each other. It was obvious he was straining to get all the energy into his chest.
"Try to be gentler." The soft voice of Shousha chimed in. "Do not force the energy, simply let it flow through you." And after a few more tries he was very successful. The energy began flowing through him as if he had been doing this for a while now.
'Now do that exact same thing but into your right hand. I want you to use your hand to gather up leaves while using chakra to attract them. If you focus all of your chakra into a flat part of your body, you can cause for it to stick to a surface." After a few moments, it seemed Nonu had finally processed what Grey was asking of him and he tried the process. THis one took much longer as well as a lot of coaching. At first the chakra he was using was flowing too roughly, the leaves seemed to be repelling as soon as they touched his flesh. However, after half an hour of delay as well as constant struggle to do so, one small leaf clung to his palm. The normally apathetic face of the Uzumaki cracked a smile, even if only for a second. Grey looked at Shousha and produced something similar, a smile reckognition of his own happiness due to growth in a human being.
