Can genin get up to three novices, considering Intermediate is supposedly equal to two novices, and genin get one novice?

Is it possible to become as strong as the main characters(ie non background) in the manga?

So I'm confused with the Stat to spec system,  it seems to me if you don't have speed then your pretty much screwed against anyone who does as Jutsu speed seems to be covered in the Stat section,  as does handseal speed from what I have been told,  so this means speed is a requirement limiting specs one can gain or want. 

So an example if someone took intelligence chakra control and endurance they would stand no chance against a speed user as none of there own skills would be able to keep up with speed users giving speed users the advantage.  Surely each spec should have there own speed usage. 

Chakra control should cover nin and medical Jutsu and handseal speeds
Speed obviously movement speed. 
Strength obviouse
Fuinjutsu should be seal activated and handseals
Intelligence should cover  handseal for gen and medical 


This way everyone's specs have the ability to at least stand a chance against those with speed,  so that speed freaks can't insta hit you before you can do anything.

Theoretically yes, its all how you train I suppse

Yea you were misinformed. Speed does determine hand speed, but not hand seal speed. Its more for like, say punches and sweapon strikes. Hand seal speed can however be increased with abilities, though none have been made yet.

If youre talking about the speed at which a jutsu moves, neither stat covers that. All Jutsu are to list speed within the description, the jutsu determines how fast it moves, not a stat. However, faster and stronger jutsu will be higher ranked and require stat to use.

There isnt one now, however after the exams, one will be open to those who participated. Just want people to actually be in this one before thinking they can do it a wuicker way
