Appearance: Zanji has bright green eyes, as well as long vibrant red hair that reaches down pas his shoulder blades, with two long forelocks on each shoulder. He ties his hear up into a pony tail before going out on missions or meetings but other than than he likes it hanging loose and letting it sway in the winds breeze. He has creamy white skin complexion that most girls would dream to have giving him a rather attractive outward appearance. He is occasionally mistaken for a female because of his long hair and delicate features. He often wears a light-colored Chinese-style battle outfit with yellow plane and blue trim. He keep his hidden leaf head band tied around his forehead displaying it with great pride. He stands at the height of five foot eleven inches and weighs a hundred and forty pounds and he keeps his ninja tool satchel on his right side just above his hip on his sash that he wears.
Upon his left chest he bears has a tattoo of a strange looking symbol across his heart its written in a strange language that people can't read but he can teach them should he find them to be good friends Or a person he can truly relate with. Zanji Has a slender boy slender shape but it may appear to lack muscle and fat but in fact he is well proportioned for muscle to fat ration. He may appear to look fail and dainty but in actuality his muscles are well toned beneath the long layered clothing he tends to wear. Zanji is the type of man who keeps his body clean and healthy and free of facial hair due to the fact that his father was a clean shaven man and Zanji had his fathers facial features and wanted to keep them that way as long as he could.
Personality:When Zanji was younger he was a kind and caring one. He is very generous and a very compassionate person, especially to the younger children and the elderly. He is usually seen helping elderly people with their bags or helping maintain their gardens and lawns. But that all changed after the loss his father. Zanji considered his father more than just a father he considered him a mentor and friend that was very dear to him. An intense darkness took root inside one that he holds secret from the world. That darkness was spawned the day he found of his father was murdered by a group of unknown shinobi. His entire happy world inside his mind collapsed. He now holds a deep and vengeful grudge against the murdered by a group of unknown shinobi for taking his father away from him. In his mind he has a strong belief that it was the mist shinobi who ambushed his father but there was no proof.
Zanji's new personality is considerably calm state most of the time, but he still has a habit of joking around and disrespecting those around him. Though there are times when his arrogance pops up, But there are exceptions for people he admires such as a person who is able to wound him in battle. Zanji is calculating, cunning and analytically type of person. He is extremely perceptive, able to quickly recognize the patterns and mistakes that his opponents make, which gives him an edge. the face of adversity, Zanji has the uncommon ability to shun all emotions and shine a blank slate, thinking three to four steps ahead to clutch the pinch and seize control of the situation. Coupled with his vast intelligence, his detached emotional state is perhaps his greatest asset.
He is willing to do anything to further his physical powers even to the extreme of toying with the idea of experimenting on him. Zanji also show an interesting clear view of respect to those he sees with great status such as a kage or a sage's abilities against them. Zanji has a unique habit of trying to collect dna from special shinobi that he meets. Though he tries to win them over to his side through manipulation but if that tactic should fail he has no problem killing them

History: Zanji was born on the 25th of December. His mother was from the Uzumaki clan and his father was a medical shinobi for Konoha. His parents met during a patch up for his mother. When his parents saw each other for the first time there were just fireworks. His mother and father were so ecstatic the day he was born. He was a curious case though for a baby he hardly ever cried or fussed he was a very quiet child. His parents thought nothing of it and just thought it was just luck.
His parents were proud people, stern even so much so that they wanted to see him challenged so that he wouldn't feel bored and just slack off and to prepare him for the outside world of being a shinobi. So his father began to tutor him about medical ninjutsu. His son was a somewhat gifted at it some would say it was like father like son. His father continued to train him in medical ninjutsu and other ninjutsu. Now at the age of eight he entered into the academy. Though darkness came upon his family upon his 16th birthday that shook him to his very core. His father and his fellow shinobi were returning back to Konohagakure looking into what could have happened to the kage to cause him to go into a comatose state. When they were ambushed by an unknown group of shinobi on their way back to Konoha. Somehow that mysterious group had gotten wind of the groups attempt to look into the Hokage's illness.
Zanji's fathers teammates were each executed one by one until two were left and Zanji's father sacrificed himself to create an opening for his teammate to escape leaving him to the unknown shinobi. The teammate was let go intentionally by the unknown shinobi what better way to send a message than with a survivor and to cause more mistrust between nations. The man returned to Konoha and told the story of what had happened to the Hokage and to each of the squad's families. After being branded a coward by the grieving families of the fallen ninjas. The man shortly committed suicide after telling the Hokage of what had happened. The news was later relayed to Zanji which drastically changed his personality.
Though, it was hardest on his mother. Losing the love of her life she began to drink heavily. Soon enough Zanji had to start learning on how to care for himself since his mother was usually passed out after a night after night of binge drinking. This also affected him personally believing that the mysterious shinobi that had murdered his father were members of the mist village giving him even more reason to hate the Mist village. He soon grew a hatred of the Mist village so much so he dreamed of killing the Mist shinobi. Though with this horrible death he gained a new purpose and that was seeking vengeance and also giving him his own personal Nindo. For a while Zanj's old personality began to shine through and he was rather happy with his team mates and even considered them his friends. But fate once again had other plans He and his team were ambushed by a group bandits who had a grudge against the leaf village since there boss had been taken prisoner.
They slowly tortured Zanj'i's friends and sensei right before his very eyes. Eventually his teammates begged for death until their voices ran hoarse with over use. Then and only then did the bandits kill them. After robbing the bodies of his fallen teammates they moved onto him and took his wallet and his old student id card fell to the ground. They took the card and grinned and held up there hand and smirked and discovered he was a uzumaki. One man whispered to another and they spread the news that the kid was going to be kept alive as a dna cow for the black market dealings. They put zanji into a medically induced coma state drawing blood every few days. This process went on for weeks as they kept him hooked up to a Iv at there base. Fate intervened though after a few weeks of being held captive and after indulging in too much alcohol one of his captors passed out before giving zanji another dose of sedative. He awoke groggy and weak at first but remained still as he got his bearings. with in arms reach of his cage and he stole the keys from his them and for good measure he took a the knife from the sleeping mans belt slowly so not to alert him. He should have left and ran but no oh no he wanted vengeance. So for good measure he slit the bandit’s throats and carved the symbol of the leaf village in his forehead. He left with face and clothes splattered in blood and back to his village more cold and unfeeling than before yet he had a crazed smile on his face as he passed back through the gates of his village. He went to therapy for a long while being tested for psychological abnormalities but he passed the tests and was deemed well enough for active duty. He went on to graduate from genin to chunnin and maintaining caring for himself and is mother. His father had left him books upon books of medicine and anatomy for him to study.
At the age of sixteen he soon he had memorized most of the human body and went on to become a chunin. He went on to become a fully-fledged medical ninja wishing to follow in his father’s footsteps in a way. He was soon working at the Leaf village's hospital treating people and going out on missions to help as a medic. He enjoyed helping people as a medic it gave him a sense of fulfillment. But soon that fulfillment emptied out and he had a hunger for more intense satisfaction. He first started out by taking blood samples from the hospital from various kekkai genkai shinobi and was fascinated by their DNA structure. He soon became envious of their special abilities so much so that he himself wanted to try and experiment on people to see if it was possible to combine DNA with a none kekkai genkai shinobi and shinobi with special abilities.
