Clan Specific Features: There is no specific trait found in all members though it is common for members to possess a lighter hair color such as blonde, or more commonly white. Some members are born with sharp almost shark like teeth and an unusual eye color. This eye color is usually a shade of blue or purple.

KKG Description: Unlike most clans that focus on an advanced release or doujustu, hozuki clan members instead focus primarily on one of the basic 5 elements known as suiton, making them masters in the arts of all water ninjustu to the point that they have found ways to meld with the element itself. They are also talented in the arts of swordsmanship and have produced many great swordsmen over the years, some even going on to become some of the 7 swordsmen of the mist. Unlike most clans who rely on the pure power of their advanced release and bloodline, Hozuki members value the use of creativity and strategy instead in their abilities and are incredibly tricky opponents. Because of their advancements in water techniques and their unique bodies clan members are offered a number of general bonuses not allowed to other ninja.
Hozuki members are master of all water ninjustu, dating back to the times of clan vs clan warfare, there are few water ninjustu that a clan member won't have trouble learning or using, because of this it costs half the ryo/word count for a hozuki clan member to learn water ninjustu that are up to their rank, note that this does not count towards forbidden justu. This trait is not given to those who implant this dna.
Hozuki are beings that are one with water their whole lives, even at birth, because of this all Hozuki members must have suiton as their primary element, but all suiton used by the member has its combative abilities increased as if they were one rank higher. For example a C rank suiton technique would be treated as if were B rank in offensive abilities for no additional cost.
Occasionally, there are hozuki born into the clan the process the ability to create a liquid substance that is akin more to oil than water. Those born with this trait are incredibly rare and considered blessed among their clan. Those with this ability are to combine this oil with the regular liquid in their body to create new techniques as well as give a twist to already created ones. Because of the oil in their bodies, Hozuki members will be able to add this oil to katon techniques to increase the damage they cause to as if it were one rank higher in power. This oil ability is limited to 3 clan members at a time on a first come first serve basis and cannot be gained through an implant.
Being made of water, Hozuki clan members have no problem breathing underwater or moving, in fact while in water Hozuki clan members will becomes slightly more agile and swift than those equal to their rank.
Because of their unique body structure raiton techniques are incredibly effective against clan members. All raiton techniques will be treated as if they were one rank higher in damage when hitting a Hozuki clan member.
Note: When implanting Hozuki Dna, the one implanted does gain access to some of the abilities of the Hozuki but not all of them due to actually having to be born from a clan member for some of these traits to make sense. The traits not given to those who implant the dna are explained above. Also, due to the Hozuki clan also being considered a Hiden clan those that implant the dna must have a pc Hozuki clan member teach them the hydrification technique for them to unlock access to the clan's cannon techniques. Though those that implant do not gain the boost of reduction for wc/ryo suiton techniques, learning cannon clan techniques will still only cost them half the ryo/wc.
