It was night time again and dray was having one of his weird dreams. It was like his mind was being removed from his current body and placed into another body..
The swift breeze of takigakure woke
Draygglez up. He sat up and raised the
bed sheets from his body. As he removed the
sheets, they revealed his nakedness. He
wondered what must have happened
when he came into takigakure last night
since they were having a sort of festival
but as far as he was concerned, he had a
pretty good time last night. He went into
the bath tub and had the water running.
He sub merged himself in the water and
freed his head of all his thoughts. For
once, there was no hokage to summon
him as quickly as possible, there was no
mission that required his attention, be it a
D rank or C rank mission. There was no
familiar sound of the birds in konoha. No
sweet smell of ichiraku ramen and finally,
no recognized chatter of the people
around him back at konoha. At that
particular moment, all that mattered was
that he was in a diffrent village, to meet
diffrent people and see diffrent things. He
re- surfaced from the water and washed
himself clean. When he was about to put
on his clothes, he looked at his usual
attire. His everyday attire. Which was his
white shirt and green trousers and he
also looked at the overall green gown he
had brought along with him for
relaxation. He thought for some minutes
and finally decided that a shinobi's life is
never easy. He wore his regular white
shirt and green trousers. And finally, he
put on the over all green gown he had
brought and he tried his best to look like
a normal civilain. He was about leaving
the house when he remembered his
forehead protector. He put it on and
brought out his black scarf. He tied the
scarf on his head and allowed it to cover
the forehead protector. He left home with
his swords and ninja pouch covered by
the overall gown. The first location that
popped into his head was a place surrounded by nature. He thought of it as a perfect
place for a good meditation. Off he went,
directing himself to his destination. He
passed through the market and saw
people in diffrent attire. More diffrent
and weird from those in konoha and he
said to himself...the world is really big
indeed. after walking for about a mile and
half, he got to his destination. At the
entrance, he saw the back view of a
particular boy. The boy was about his
age, he was a bit taller than him but
Draygglez was more built than the boy.
He waved the thought from his mind and
proceeded to sit at the top of a large tree so as to begin his meditation.
Just as he moved on, the boy he had seen
earlier came out of nowhere and bumped
into Draygglez revealing the swords that
were hidden by the gown and at the same
time, allowing the loosely tied scarf fall to
the ground revealing that Draygglez was a
shinobi. He put his hands to his swords bringing the fight to the boy to test his skills since the boy looked pretty skilled to him.
Suddenly, a man was visible. Draygglez was startled and he shifted his concentration from the boy to the strange man. He was suprised how a man could ask for a fight from little boys of their age. The man looked a bit scary with everything about him. To Draygglez, his height was intimidating. The man was well built. His hair was covering his face a bit and he had an unusual eye on his left and lastly, he was holding an umbrella. Strange but true, to Draygglez, he knew deep down that the man was skilled in swordship and he did not plan on taking it light with the man. He glanced at the other boy with a look that told him that their fight would have to wait till another day or till after he or the man were done with each other. Draygglez moved a bit foward to the man walking cautiously and ever ready incase the man decides to attack him first. As draygglez approached the man, he saw the other boy leave the scene. Now, Dray saw that it was just him and the man. There was no backing out now. He regretted ever leaving home in the morning...."So much for a civilian life"....he told himself...but he knew that he was a shinobi of the leaf...konoha's very own green leaf in precision.. Now, he was ready. He calmed his nerves and thought of this as a training that required survival at all cost. He moved confidently to the man and said..if I must fight you, won't you do me the honour of knowing your name"... He paused and waited for the response of the strange man..
Draygglez was burning up. Adrenaline
filled every nook and cranny of his
excellent figure. He wondered how long it
would take the man just to spit out his
name. Even the most famous of warriors
and the most recognized shinobi don't
hide their name. It is always a pride for
them to say it loud and clear. He he was
so great and all mighty, then he wouldn't
be walking alone without escorts even if
he was extremely skilled. Even the kages
of the five nations have their names
planted on the lips of the youngest of
infants including the ones given birth to
yesterday. He wondered why the man
hesitated. He wondered if the man's
name had some terrible attachments to it
like a curse or a key to something big.
Something great. Something that would
shake the world off it's feets. He also
jokingly thought that maybe mere
pronunciation of the man's name would
break down the heavens or simply cause
the slightest change in the atmosphere.
Dray waved off the thought. He began to
think like a shinobi that he was. Not all
shinobis are to be trusted even if he
believed all shinobis to be comrades. He
had encountered many experiences with
numerous shinobis, each with different
attributes, diffrent skills but most are
grouped with the same killing intent. He
remembered his last encounter where his
innocent looking opponent approached
him timidly and streched out a hand
waiting for dray to take it as a sign of a
fair fight. Unknown for dray, he had
almost shook the hand of his opponent
when his instincts kicked in. His senses of
the forest were activated since their battle
arena was a place all green. The deceiving
opponent had set a clone that threw
kunais at dray immediately he tried to
take his opponents hand. It wasn't much
to worry about since his speed took care
of the situation but he still got a slight cut
on his left arm that was later treated.
Unlike other shinobis who believe that the
past is gone and face their present, dray
also focused on his present at the same
time learning from his past and trying not
to repeat the same mistakes again. All
this thoughts pin- pointed to the fact that
what if his opponent was the tricky-
natured type. What if he wasn't hesitating
to say his name. What if he was trying to
buy a little time and attack dray from a
blind spot. He couldn't take any chances.
Dray was about flippn back and holding a
defensive ground when the man spurted
out his name after some words he had
said earlier. All those did not matter to
dray. All he picked from the sentence was
the keyword in it, not some pre- ambles
or suffixes. "Nameless"....
The name stuck like a shell to a snail. But
considering the way the name was
presented, reverse was the case. Dray
didn't feel any chill down his spine like he
usually felt whenever he was nervous.
Having heard the name, his next thought
was strategy. Using bukijutsu against a
bukijutsu specialist might be quite
challenging but dray wasn't a slacker at
bukijutsu either. He had focused his time
and trained his bukijutsu specialization
up to B- rank with all three of his swords.
Wasn't that a great feet indeed, when
most shinobis couldn't handle more than
one sword at a time. He was about testing
out the man like he usually did on his
opponents when he heard something that
caught his attention. Something that
peered into his very heart and sought out
the inner him. It was a challenge. The
man was questioning dray's skill. His
ability. His greatness. He wondered if the
man truly meant it or if he was just trying
to piss him off and make him lose focus.
Dray vowed to either take something
from the end of the match from the man,
receive something as commendation for
his skill and bravery or most
impoertantly, leave the man a sign he
would remember for eternity. A BATTLE
SCAR.... Dray moved back streching the
distance between him and the man ten
metres away. He performed two backflips
to hide the process of him withdrawing
a kunai and a shuriken from his pockets and aiming
the first at the man's wind pipe and the
second at his left ear. Without wasting
much time, dray withdrew another two shurikens
and immediately aimed them at the man
depending whether he changed location
or not. The third shuriken was aimed at a
soft spot on the stomach and the fourth
shuriken was aimed at a tendon beside
his left knee. According to dray's
calculations, if the first kunai were to hit
the wind pipe, it would definitely caused
bleeding and continuous bleeding would
lead to diziness due to much loss of
blood. If the second shuriken was on target, at least, slightly
hitting the left ear would cause loss of
balance to the man since the ear is the
organ responsible for that. The third
shuriken meant for the soft spot in the
stomach might cause bleeding and thus
reduce his speed. Lastly, if the fourth
shuriken were to slash the tendon beside
the left knee, the man would be definitely
immobile for some minutes and would be
really slow throughout the rest of the
battle.
Dray wasn't expecting all four darts to hit
the bullseye but if at least one could hit
target, then, he had won a jackpot. He
leaped into a tree and watched the
scenario.
