CLAN NAME: Nara
TRAITS: Black hair usually worn in a ponytail. High amount of intelligence.
ABILITIES:
- Shadow Possession:
NAME: Shadow Possession.
RANK: 5.
LIMITS: Nara Clan.
DESCRIPTION: Members of the Nara clan are able to manipulate their own shadow to achieve a variety of things, rather this be restraining their opponent by connecting their shadows or using tendrils of shadow to throw kunai/shuriken. With this not being a KKG, members of the clan can teach their techniques to outsiders, but it’s frowned upon.

NAME: Shadow Imitation Technique.
RANK: C.
ELEMENT: None.
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu. Hiden.
DESCRIPTION: Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface, this includes water, as far as they want with twenty meters being the max range of the technique after forming the ‘rat’ hand seal. Once it comes in contact with the shadow of the intended target, the two will merge and the target is now forced to imitate the user’s movements. Therefore, the two can throw shuriken at each other and at the same time, though the speed of the shuriken still depends on the user’s and target’s respective speed. Of course to avoid injury to themselves, the user simply needs to have the holster in a place the target doesn’t have it in so that the user draws the shuriken whilst the target draws nothing. If the target is out of range, the user will need to produce a better light source in order to increase their shadow’s size or rely on pre-existing shadows for their shadow to travel through. It’s possible for the user to split their shadow in order to trap multiple individuals, the max being five, as well as use the shadow as a distraction. To split their shadow the user must pay an additional D rank amount of chakra.
The major downside of the technique is the amount of chakra it takes to sustain it, and can prove tiring to even the most experienced user if used for a long period of time or repeatedly. An insufficient light source can also make the technique less effective or completely useless. Particularly strong targets, ones with strength higher than the user’s chakra control skill, can resist the shadow’s forced imitation. Speed of the shadow can also prove a weakness, traveling at speeds a tier lower than the user’s chakra control skill.
NAME: Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique.
RANK: B.
ELEMENT: None.
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu. Hiden.
DESCRIPTION: Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique allows the user to infuse blades with their own chakra, giving said blades the same effect as their shadow technique. By using these blades to pierce the target’s shadow, the user has immobilized said target, but in order for the technique to be a success, the user has to barely miss the target. Since the usual target won’t be expecting a blade to immobilize them, it’s difficult to notice. This technique makes up for Shadow Imitation Technique, the range being better than the mentioned technique. This technique can be used on multiple people though the user must have the necessary amount of blades for that.
The major downside of this technique is how easy it’s to disrupt if the target does have an outside source helping them. By simply removing the blade sticking into the ground, the technique will be disrupted. Another way to disrupt the technique is if the shadow of the target becomes smaller or switches places due to lighting and positioning of said lighting. And like Shadow Imitation Technique, if the target’s strength is a tier higher than the user’s chakra control skill, they can resist the effects of this technique. Requires one post charge up time before the technique can be used and the blade can only restrain one target.
NAME: Shadow Sewing Technique.
RANK: B.
ELEMENT: None.
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu. Hiden.
DESCRIPTION: Shadow Sewing Technique allows the user to materialize their shadow in order to bind and attack the target instead of only immobilizing and controlling them like Shadow Imitation Technique. The user forms their shadow into several sharp needles and controls each of them separately, thus allowing them to attack multiple targets simultaneously and at the same time, prevent the target(s) from moving by essentially sewing them to the ground. Because the attack is a physical one, it’s impossible to capture the target without injuring them, but thanks to the speed and duration time, it can be used when the target needs to be restrained immediately. The technique is usually used to go through the target and capture them, but depending on the opponent, it can also be used as an attack to bring them down. This technique requires the formation of the ‘rat’ and ‘bird’ hand seal before use.
The major downside of this technique is it’s range which is only ten meters and how long it can last, which is only two post. It moves at speeds a tier lower than that of the user’s, and if the target’s strength is a tier higher than the user’s chakra control, they can break themselves out of this technique.
NAME: Shadow Clutch Technique.
RANK: A.
ELEMENT: None.
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu. Hiden.
DESCRIPTION: Shadow Clutch Technique allows the user to materialize their shadow and increase it’s power, giving it the durability of steel. The user then connects their shadow to the target’s shadow and forcibly moves the target about. When used with the Akimichi’s Human Bullet Tank, the shadow essentially turns the Akimichi into a weapon. Despite the simplicity of this technique, it can be used in a number of emergency situations. This technique requires the formation of the ‘rat’ hand seal before use and the strength and speed of the shadow heavily depends on the strength and speed of the user. The range of this technique is thirty meters.
The major downside of this technique is it’s inability to have the target imitate what the user is doing, unlike Shadow Imitation Technique, thus the target retains their own motor skills excluding the ability to move their own legs. And like the Shadow Imitation Technique, a target with strength a tier higher than the user’s strength and chakra control can resist the effects of this technique. This technique only last a single post.
NAME: Shadow Gathering Technique.
RANK: A.
ELEMENT: None.
CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu. Hiden.
DESCRIPTION: Shadow Gathering Technique allows the user to materialize their shadow and works much like Shadow Sewing Technique with the biggest difference being it’s focus on precise control of the shadow’s movement. The control of the user’s shadow is so precise that they are able to get their tendrils through tiny holes. Usually the user’s shadow is transformed into multiple thin tendrils of shadow which can be used to grab and throw objects. There are many applications for this technique, thus making it versatile and with there being no hand seals, the user can use it at the drop of a hat.
The major drawback of this technique is the speed, which is a tier lower than that of the user’s. Another happens to be the range, which is thirty meters, and if maintained for a long period of time, can be taxing on the user’s chakra reserve.
