Nindo: ”"Faith means living with uncertainty: feeling your way through life, letting your heart guide you like a lantern in the dark."” Personality Description: Rena is like any other girl when it comes to her emotions, and often tries to rationalize things around herself. She is someone who is down to earth and very mellow throughout her daily life in public view. Behind closed doors and in solitude she is a completely different person underneath. There are many vices in her emotions that distress her and emotions that empower to push away her vices. Because of this Rena is often an introvert and likes to spend time alone. Anger Temper temper… Rena doesn't really have one luckily. It is often rare for her to even feel the slightest bit of anger towards anyone who doesn't harm her or the things she likes. However, her anger is unquenchable once established and later down the latter she develops hatred if she continues to feel this emotion. A best example is her bloodline, she has developed enough hatred for it as other emotions for it as she was growing up and often doesn't like to use it despite in the pursuit to master it. If hatred isn't enough for it and she can be rid of it then she could easily go down the path of unleashing her wrath without thinking twice. Once again it is lucky for all that she is very hard to anger and often is forgiving. Being irritated is one thing but may lead to anger if strong enough strings are pulled. Please note Rena doesn't take drastic measures unless they really hit home. Greed Mine… There was once a time she felt greed, but for a good reason. Once upon a winter she was eating one of her rare meals and a stray wolf happened to pass by. It began to beg for a share of her meal but Rena did not want to share what little she had to the dog. Eventually the same wolf was found later in the night dead in the frozen ground of snow. It was this day she learned the essence of losing something unnecessary. It appeared healthy but it hadn't eaten in days and was too weak to fight for food or attempt to steal from Rena. Creatures instinctively don't fight the odds against them… Rena has since then shared whatever came her way. Since then her mind thought the only things worth keeping to herself must be the bonds between others that she encounters. Also sweets (don't worry she'll resist a bit but only for a while). Fear Are you afraid?… The truth is Rena is afraid. Afraid of hard obstacles, challenges, new things, destruction, disorder, chaos, and above all herself. She isn't afraid of things that make people go bump in the night. Dangerous ideas are more frightening to her than a physical onslaught since they cannot be dismissed so easily or taken head on to an end. There will always be another. Yet above all she is afraid of her own bloodline to cause her fears to be true. The very nature of ancestors give her an unbridled blind fury like no other. She is afraid of losing control of this power within her. The icing on the cake of her fears is to be found out by those she encounter of her being a monster. Negligence comes in at number two as she does not want to be abandon and has abandonment issues. Though this is minor she enjoys seeing others in fear and this frightens her. Will Try again?… Yes! Rena's willpower is strong and she isn't one so easily to dismiss her determination. Her will helps her overcome the fears and anger in her mind. It helps her focus on the possible and impossible while. Even if the opponent is ten times stronger she does not hesitate herself so easily and gives it her all at the cost of others. She will keep trying, pushing, and reach till the point she no longer can until the body falls behind the mind. Hope A better tomorrow… Without shape or reason, despite having little to nothing shall Rena hold onto hope. After all, since the start she only had hope. It has kept her alive in the past. Without a doubt the idea of having hope is far than richer than any gold coin offered to Rena. What's even more beautiful about hope is the fact how well it works with will. Embarking her hopes to become a reality is thankful by her will and vice versa. There will always be faith in Rena's heart for many things especially for her own wishes. Compassion To suffer with… Of course. This is what she believes to make her human instead of a monster since the day the wolf died and among other events. Rena has a strong empathetic side though she always tries to hide it and never let it interfere with her line of work as a ninja. It is possibly one of her hardest emotions and harsh vents to manage under unfair circumstances. She has a widely good perception of others and often relates hardships without ever letting other parties knowing how she feels on the inside. It is difficult for her to feel compassion for those who have been fortunate off the bat. Once a bond is created she will be able to understand individuals more and more with each encounter. Love … Possibly one of the strongest and hardest emotion for Rena. She is afraid of falling in love with a man because of herself. She could outlive him, possibly accidentally kill him, or see him die. Often enough she denies herself this one expression to be with another in fear. Though she has a lot of love in her. She'll always want to be beside someone to guard each other and guide each other. Whenever there is someone interested in her she often pushes away their feelings for her and tries to make them forget her in such way. Even though she wishes to share one love in one lifetime. To follow them on a whim and cherish the time they spend together is what she wants. Favorites:
History: Full Moon Since the beginning of any dream has Rena ever since recollected a fragment of her memories. The sound of drums in the deep dark. Echoing the sounds of war in her dreams. These memories will ceased to vanish as they reoccur in her slumber. Often she awakes at the presence of the morning sun rising from the east. The dream begins with an abandoned pier and boat harbor. The water is stained with blood as a foreign ship sails onto the decks of the abandoned harbor. There the picture cuts into many distorted images of bodies, clocks, and old furniture within what seems to be a rich home unlike those found amongst the known lands. Then there is fire. It quickly burns all in sight and engulfs what is seen. Finally a shadow figure of a man emerges from the fire. He approaches closer and hisses into a growl as his mouth opens with razor sharp teeth that engulfs all perception of the dream itself. Then she awakes. Time and time again has this dream ever plague her mind. Her eyes open to the soft touch of morning's chill breath. Immediately her eyes stare off into the distance of the sun as she feels the bumps on the road while sitting in a farmer's carriage heading towards Kumogakure for their trade of goods and services. This was the first time Rena ever been to such a place. She has lost and forgotten all that she had. It's been like this since the longest of time. Only memories that serve her well-being was having been traveling from corner to corner of the fields of many plantation for rice and other crops. They have kept her secrecy safe within these lands while keeping her nourished for the past four years. Since she was five has she forgotten where she came from or how she came to be. Today at the age of nine did she decide to leave the forsaken fields as she committed a horrible crime… Though many are unaware or careless of it. There was a man who had been eyeing Rena since her arrival. Over the course of her stay with the Mitsuki family he often preyed on the young innocent children. There was minor rumors but no one did a thing. Not one thing at all. Eventually once she became nine years of age she looked a little older than most children and this provoked the man ever further. He lured her into a den in the outskirts of the farm one afternoon and attempted to rape her. It was then that she blacked out before opening her eyes at a filled stomach like never before. In fact, she found herself licking the blood off the opening of his ripped sternum. It tasted… Good… Since that day she has learned the loving taste of blood. It didn't sicken her and only caused her wary now of her surroundings. First Quarter Moon Kumogakure, it was a new beginning. Many of her adopted family were against her arrival yet they knew it could serve her for the better as she was growing up the past four years with them. They have came to call her Rena Mitsuki, one of their own. Where to start? She noticed many of the villagers were friendly within the village hidden in the clouds. Even so she couldn't find herself to trust anyone so easily. It was hard for her but with proper introductions to head admissions she was able to secure a home in return she would become a full fledged ninja with offered perks. They tested her skills and she ultimately failed and was very lively at the time. They enrolled her in the Academy as a late-runner. It wasn't long before she felt the need to feed upon blood again so she began to feed off rare-cooked steaks whenever she could in public and eating raw steaks having little to remaining blood in them. This only satisfied her long enough. Throughout her days she wondered how to sustain such hunger… Then it hit her. She started using her learned skills as student in the wilderness not too far off from Kumogakure where she hunted animals and fed upon their blood in secrecy. Sometimes she'd go without a hunt for months before returning into the night where she feasted upon many animals. A vile was brought from now on to keep blood in storage in her refrigerator to keep cool. Sooner than she realized her fridge was stocked with a lot of blood vile and packs. New Moon It hasn't been past five months and Rena had gotten used to Kumogakure's customs. It felt odd at times though… When graduation came that is. There was no one there to really promote her or give her a welcoming at home. She was alone. This did not bother her much until now. Over her years as a Genin and discovering little by little what her body does did interaction with others ceased to become a desire. She was fine being alone and often content of it. When the Chuunin Exams came she had no hesitation as a ninja thankful to her loneliness. Moving onto becoming a full fledged Chuunin even after having a defeat in the semi-finals. She has shown brilliance in tactics, quick decision making skills, and above all showcasing the greatness of Kumogakure's upcoming ninjas. However, even to this day she often finds herself alluding for something… It hasn't became clear what the hint is, but she's starting to grasp them. To stop being alone. Key Events: [list][*]Amnesia.
