Story
It's been five generations after the first war between Samurai and Shinobi. The five villages were founded shortly after and there has never been a war between them. Until now, all five villages have been off limits to the outside world, however the gates have been opened and ninja were allowed to travel between. But suddenly, kage are falling ill and no one knows who's behind it. The Hokage and Raikage both lie in comatose state, awaiting an answer as to what put them there.

Kaseki's Sword Weapo10
Weapon Name: Kubikiribōchō
Weapon Type: Seven Swords of The Mist
Weapon Rank: S
Ability: Like the other weapons employed by the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, the sword possesses a unique power, this being its ability to reform itself using the iron harvested from the blood of its victims. This regenerative process takes place almost instantaneously and is capable of bringing the weapon back to its original condition no matter how severe the damage is, from a simple chip or nick to a complete separation of over half the blade. The sword also possesses high durability and is quite strong, able to cut through almost anything.
Regenerate: The sword is able to repair itself after breaking. This is done by having blood on the blade. This happens instantaneously. (See Picture below)
Weightless: The blade itself is triple the weight to anyone else but the owner
Ability Rank: S
Weapon Description:
The blade itself has two cut outs, a circle close to the top and a semi-circular one nearer the handle, that aptly fit the sword's purpose of decapitation, as demonstrated through Suigetsu Hōzuki's use. The latter notch allows a strap to be wrapped around the weapon, making it easier for the user to carry. Its extremely long handle is also detachable to further aid transportation and then reattached when required for combat. However, despite being well-trained, Suigetsu noted that the weight of the blade could still tire him out easily; a problem Zabuza Momochi didn't have.
Kaseki's Sword Zabuza11
Materials used: Iron
Weapon Owner: Kaseki
Cost: 10,000

Oh I need to correct myself... The blade isn't weightless. Unless you can show me in the canon where it is said to be weightless that is.

To the wielder.

Meaning it's swung as if it's nothing.

That is up to the wielder's ability, not a weapon ability. Also, you have to have mastery in Bukijutsu to use this thing.

I don't see anywhere where it says I have to have mastery in Bukijutsu anywhere.

It is an event item. But it would still require the right specialty to utilize. Its like buying chidori which is a limited but you dont have lightning release to utilize it. Still, you can purchase the item and store it till when you have the specs to wield it. Ryan himself said buki mastery is required to wield the ssms.

Rules wrote:Every character is allowed a set number of ninja weapons as well as tools. This number depends solely on your Bukijutsu skill. Upon leveling your Bukijutsu skill up, you will receive a few free weapons and items. No catch. Note, no character can wield weapons or armor higher than their own rank, excluding legendary items (event items)

So you just comfirmed it is an event item... and the rules say I can in fact wield it... So either there's a rule I'm missing here or I'm mistaking the rules that are put up. Because the rule that Roku pointed out is the same rule that says I can wield it.

On my path,I do think that bukijutsu mastery is required to wield the ssms. In the cbox, ryan too said buki mastery is required and maybe he should just come on here and clarify issues.

This might be a rule we all overlooked, considering that we just opened Kirigakure up.

Dray is incorrect that it is an event item. Event items are won in... Well, events. You bought this.

Then that means ANYONE can get these swords? Now that's truely insane.

I also asked Ryan if I could have this, which he said he'd give it to me... so then I guess we need to set the SSM rules before any of these are distributed first.

Well you can buy it, you just can't wield it. However, don't freak out yet, I'm going to PM Ryan and ask him to confirm all this.

You do indeed need Buki Mastery to use a SSM. Says in Buki description that mastery is needed to use S rank weapons. And yes, Kaseki gets this sword free, as commision for all his hard work on the site's gfx

Because I'm specialist in Puppets, with Fuin as my secondary...
