Weapon Name: Samehada~ sharkskin
Weapon Type: Sword of the mist
Weapon Rank: S
Ability: Samehada has an ability of eating chakra from an opponent or a jutsu.(It slices through B rank jutsu and below and it absorbs 50 percent of the chakra used for the jutsu).
- Spoiler:
Samehada shares a symbiotic relationship with its wielder, similar to that of the kikaichū. Although it continually consumes the chakra of its owner,(it consumes 10 chakra each post it's used) its largest meals come from fights, wherein it absorbs the chakra of the opposition instead.(Upon contact with an opponent, 50 chakra is absorbed) Such an ability allows Samehada to literally slice through an opponent's techniques, in spite of whether the chakra has been transformed or not, and even prevent them from being performed by absorbing all of the necessary chakra, before preparations can be completed. This is particularly useful when fighting jinchūriki, as Samehada can quickly deplete their large chakra supplies as well as remove their chakra cloaks. However, it seems to be unable to automatically absorb ambient chakra, as in all instances where it has absorbed chakra are when either the opponent had a visible aura around them or when direct physical contact had already been established.
Due to its voracious appetite, Samehada is drawn to those with large chakra supplies, allowing it to be used as a quasi-sensor(it can sense chakra within a 200 metre radius and the max chakra it can save up is 100cp before re-used. Chakra gotten from the user can't be saved up).
While the ability to absorb chakra is useful in defeating opponents, it is also beneficial to the user as well. Samehada has the ability to transfer the chakra it has absorbed to the wielder by fully fusing with them(1000words to learn fusing), so it can be used to either revitalise the wielders chakra and stamina or instantly heal even fatal injuries.(Only 50% of the total chakra absored by samehada can be given to the user and 50% chakra is lost) or the samehada can partially fuse with the wielder though this fusion is not visible. It's chakra gateway is chained with the users'(20% chakra can be gained but no injuries can be healed and 80% chakra is lost).
This makes the user of this sword extremely difficult to defeat conventionally but still, while wielding samehada, the wielder's speed is reduced half a tier.
Fusing with samehada causes the wielder to become much more shark-like in appearance, growing fins, breath through gills on the neck and webbed hands that allow them to move through water with considerable ease. (In water, his speed is boosted to a tier in taijutsu and water techniques used in this form receive 30% chakra reduction and 20cp is required to transform. During this stage, C-rank upkeep is needed).
The wielder also receives some of Samehada's abilities while in this form, such as being able to extend spikes from their body for offence,(spikes go as far as three feet) and absorbing chakra when others come into direct contact with them, as well as the ability to track chakra and the wielder can also hide within samehada and can't be detected by at least adept sensors. It cannot pinpoint a location but it can give a direction neither can it sense when a person is under genjutsu(This can only be achieved if the wielder has fully trained fusing with samehada)

Weapon Description:
Though mostly wrapped in bandages, Samehada's construction is a typical in that its actual blade is comprised from a series of downward facing scales running along the entirety of its length until its hilt, at the base of which is a small skull.

- Spoiler:
Samehada is unique for being a sentient weapon that gains nourishment from the chakra of others and as such, the blade is at its happiest when engorged with chakra that possesses both a distinctive and pleasant flavour. Being capable of conscious thought, Samehada chooses its own user, an exclusive process that has often resulted in it being thought of as notoriously picky.(500words to learn to wield samehada)
- Spoiler:
If someone it disapproves of attempts to wield it, spikes protrude from the handle in order to force them to release their grasp, at which point Samehada will make efforts to return to its chosen owner as it can move on it's own.
