Description: atsuro is a tall man, standing roughly at six feet three inches, with a rather muscular yet lean build. Weighting in at a proper one hundred and eighty three pounds, Katsuro is a rather imposing figure to stand near. He towers over most people and his bulk is just large enough to make most people think twice about confronting him. On the top of his large frame is a nice head of short black hair that naturally rolls to the right. Branching off from his hair is a chinstrap beard that that frames his jawline and ends with a triangle patch below his lower lip. Moving down from his head of hair, most people would notice his eyes that appear to be the eyes of someone who has a lot of love to give. Sometimes they could be described as soft eyes. That is unless you have done something to anger him. Then the caged animal that hid in the fire deep inside rises to the surface. Then his whole appearance changes. The soft smile that usually dominates his appearance drifts into an angry scowl and his brows furrow deep into his face causing his facial appearance to become one that could kill. Running across his face, and over his nose, is a scar that branches into a dual pronged scar frames his right cheekbone, received trying to rescue his daughter from his captors. Hidden underneath his clothing is a series of scars he obtained throughout his life as a shinobi. A few more grotesque than others. On his left shoulder is a tattoo that distinguishes him as a member of ANBU
His usual clothing is a tight, black long-sleeve shirt underneath his slate grey flak jacket. The shirt is rather bland and features no special markings on it except for the . The flak jacket, however, is from his time as a member of the Illustrious ANBU. Slate grey in color, the flak jest is rather utilitarian in design, though Katsuro's has been modified for attachment of pouches. His flak jacket has a neck-guard attached to it to help protect his neck from attacks, rising just above his jawline and going all the way around the back and to the other side. His vest also has extended shoulder pads to protect his shoulders from attacks. It is held together by straps along the sides making it easy to remove in a crisis. Situated on the left shoulder guard is the symbol for Kirigakure and on the right is the symbol of his clan, the Senju. On his legs, Katsuro wears traditional shinobi pants with pockets and pouches for various tools and weapons. On his feet he also wears the traditional shinobi sandals that travel up to mid calf. He keeps his pants tucked into the boots to reduce the chance of tearing and snagging on obstacles. When he wishes to remain anonymous he wears a black cloak with a hood he can use to hide his face. When he is travelling somewhere cold he will wear a heavy, fur-lined cloak to protect him from whatever temperatures await him.
Nindo: To Protect Kirigakure
Personality Description: First and foremost, Katsuro is a man whos life revolves around three things. The first and foremost of which is his younger sister, Kiyoko. When she was born, he swore to her that he would protect her from the evil that permeated their world. When she was kidnapped at the age of six, he swore that he would never let anything bad happen to her again even if that meant sacrificing himself so that she didn't have to suffer. He clearly sees himself as being her Knight in Shining Armor that must slay the evil that has kidnapped her. However, he will not hesitate to punish her for any misdeeds she may have committed.
The second thing his life revolves, is his village. Since an early age he has been indoctrinated into loving Kirigakure with ever fiber of his being. It is because of this indoctrination that Katsuro can't even think of doing something that would harm the village in any way. His love for the village is so great that he won't hesitate to lay his life down for a comrade or the village itself, in the hopes that it helps the village in some way.
It is because of this love of his village and his sister than Katsuro has developed a mild disorder known as a Hero Complex. deep inside of him Katsuro wishes for people to see him as a hero. This can make him do stupid and irresponsible things in order to prove himself. He will often refuse medical treatment and food until everyone else has received it. And often times he will give away food and money to those less fortunate in Kirigakure and on his missions.
A side effect of his patriotism and his love of his village is his new goal in life to become a teacher to to help young genin along their lives to become shinobi. His teaching style, however, is very unorthodox. He believes teaching is not about forcing knowledge into his students' minds but allowing them to learn from their actions with real consequences in a controlled scenario. While most think his methods are dangerous, he believes it is necessary to insure the survival of the village for many generations.
Deep inside, hidden from all to see, is a part of Katsuro's personality that he is truly afraid of. His first goal in life was to become a member of the illustrious ANBU and from an early age he trained to become one. It is because of this extreme training that Katsuro now finds that he enjoys the feeling of killing an opponent, whether it be with a ninjato or a jutsu. It wasn't until late in his career that he found this out and was the main reason he left the ANBU to become a teacher.
While Katsuro doesn't normally have an addictive personality, he has become addicted to one thing. Starting at an early age, Katsuro has since grown into a full grown nicotine addicted smoker. He doesn't like it when people mess with his cigarettes and can even become extremely violent should someone break or steal one, or all, of his cigarettes. He is never far from his cigarettes and one can often be seen hanging from his lips.

History:
- Pre-Academy:
- Pre-Academy Years: Katsuro was born in Kirigakure to a small Senju family unit. As the oldest child, he was destined to become the next head of his family, and eventually the entire clan. By the time Katsuro was born the family had already been inside Kirigakure for many, many generations. They were fiercely loyal to their village and often took the role of teachers rather than those that went out and did combat missions. Growing up, this method of thinking was taught to Katsuro who wanted to to nothing but make his family, and village, proud.
- Academy:
- Academy Years: After joining the Academy, Katsuro began studying his heart out in the hopes of one day becoming a great Shinobi. As with many at his young and impressionable age, Katsuro wanted to be a war hero and have a statue with his likeness and possibly save the princess in the tower from the dragon. He was neither extremely good in one single area nor was he really bad in one. He was merely average throughout his academy years. He made many friends and many enemies throughout the academy years but he didn't let them hold him back from his dream of being a war hero. Despite his inherent gift with Mokuton, Katsuro preferred to use his fists in a fight. He graduated from the academy in the top 10.
- Genin:
- Genin Years: After graduating form the Academy, Katsuro was put on a team with a former ANBU, one of his friends form the academy and someone he never really got to know. Throughout the training, his sensei instilled the tactics of the ANBU into them and taught them that the best way to defeat an opponent was through strength, intelligence, and endurance. When they weren't training, they were partaking in missions for the village. Though they were not dangerous per-say, they did usually come back with a few scraps and bruises. He was a genin for several years before the time for the Chuunin exams rolled around. With no doubt in his mind that his team could handle the chuunin exams, their Sensei signed them up.
- Chunin Exams:
- Chuunin Exams: As the Chuunin Exams came nearer, Katsuro saw his dream approaching at high speed and he wasn't about to give up on it. The first exam was felt to be the easiest to past despite the intensity of it. The second test saw the squad become one of the five to finish the trial, though being bloody and battered by the end of it. The Third test was one of the hardest for Katsuro. He would have to fight his friends and fellow Kirigakure Shinobi to pass this final test. This was where Katsuro developed his personal Taijutsu style, one that requires fast movement, and different locks to end the fight as quickly as possibly. When fighting one of his friends he would do so without using Ninjutsu and doing as little bodily damage as possibly, mainly using different locks and throws to get his opponent to submit. He lost his third fight to a shinobi from another village. Despite this he was promoted Genin for his ability to think on his feet and combat prowess.
- Chunin:
- Chuunin Years: After obtaining his Title and Flak Jacket, Katsuro set about developing his skills as he did missions. He furthered developed his Mokuton-Taijutsu style of fighting through a series of high ranked missions and even tried his hand at developing a few of his own Mokuton jutsu, though succeeding with only a few lower ranked ones that kids seemed to enjoy.
It was his first night back from a mission when he was called up with the other Shinobi to protect the village. Despite him being tired he headed the call of the village. With a group of other shinobi he helped force the missing nin from the village before collapsing from fatigue. He spent a few weeks in the hospital to recover from his wounds before he volunteered to go on one of the patrols on the border to make sure the missing-nin stayed away.
After the attack, having proven himself to both the Mizukage and the ANBU, Katsuro found himself serving with the black operations group. Though his path would be long and hard, he knew he it needed to be done.
- ANBU:
- ANBU/Jounin Years: Several years of missions and learning led Katsuro up to the point in which he earned his Jounin's vest. He continued to do missions for several years until which he finally reached a point that he decided he would retire from the ANBU. It was with his first team that he developed his way of teaching via the school of hard knocks. After retiring from ANBU, Katsuro continued to provide support on missions without taking a team. He was taking a period to readjust to a lifestyle that was based entirely on secrets and fake identities.
