Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. It's a basic ninjutsu even taught at the Academy, but it's a useful art that can be applied in variety of situations.

Description: A ninjutsu that creates an intangible copy of one's own body, without any substance. Since the clone itself doesn't have the ability to attack, and thus can only be used to confuse the enemy, it is mainly used in combination with other ninjutsu. It's a basic technique, but depending on one's ingenuity, it can be used effectively. The clones may not dissipate when they come into contact with something. These clones can be easily distinguished by persons with dōjutsu. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones do not have shadows and will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (i.e. won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

Description: Given all the missions ninja are assigned to - battle, intelligence gathering, diversions - this is a priceless ninjutsu. It is typically used to change into people other than oneself, but one also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons. This gives this technique an abundance of uses. The transformation of a skilled shinobi will be exactly like the genuine article, so it will be impossible to tell the two apart. On the other hand, a transformation performed by an inexperienced person will have obvious discrepancies. It will be impossible to deceive anyone with it. This is one of the most basic ninjutsu, as such most shinobi know how to perform it. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts mental strain on an inexperienced ninja. Thus the best way to determine if it is indeed a transformation is to cause this strain upon the user; though this is of course not always successful.

Description: Tree Climbing Practice is a training method used to gain more skills with chakra control. This training involves focusing a fixed amount of chakra to the bottom of one's feet, and using that to climb a tree without using one's hands. If the stream of chakra is too weak, the user will lose their footing on the tree and fall off. If it is too strong, the user will be pushed away from the tree, causing the tree to break around the point of contact and the user will fall.

Description: This training method is used to gain better chakra control. To do this, the user has to be emitting a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of their feet and using the repellent force to walk across the water's surface. This technique is more difficult to master than the Tree Climbing Practice, because the amount of chakra that needs to be emitted changes constantly. It has also been shown that one can use their chakra to "skate" across the water surface, like an ice skater, instead of just walking or running. It is noted, that shinobi reach a state where they stand on water without even noticing it or basically even trying.

Description: With this technique the user is able to store a variety objects or jutsu within a scroll or other surfaces with the seal inscribed, depending on the user's skill with Fuuinjutsu. While sealing an object takes a considerable amount of concentration for those unskilled with Fuuinjutsu, unsealing an object is simple enough and can be performed on the fly so long as the symbol is accessible to the user and thus making it possible to unseal a weapon in the midst of battle. Sealing in battle, however, is not possible for those who are unskilled in Fuuinjutsu.

Description: The Byakugan is the Hyuga Clan's Kekkei Genkai. When activated, the veins around the temples bulge and the eyes become more detailed as contours and details become more profound. The Byakugan grants the user a great array of abilities. The first is that it allows the user to see for extended ranges in all directions except in a blind spot located above the user's first thoracic vertebra. It also allows the user to see through solid objects and grants them telescopic vision, essentially allowing them to "zoom in" on what they are focusing on within their range of vision. Third, the user can see chakra, granting them the ability to see tenketsu points (chakra points) as well as determine whether someone is under a Genjutsu, see through disguises by comparison of chakra signatures, and determine who the original person is in a clone technique (not Shadow Clone). Finally, the user can track high-speed movement. However, the extent of these abilities differs depending on the user's level of mastery:

This allows the member to see all angles of attack.

First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32 and finally 64. This damage forceably closes 64 tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. With the addition of flexibility, the technique creates an "absolute defense" effect similar to that of the Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven, though the cutting nature of the chakra prevents any outside force from restricting it. If an enemy rushes the attack or is somehow struck by the attack they will be dealt (x) rank damage[1 rank lower than the jutsu’s actual rank] that in the form of slashes and stabs.

Description: The user releases chakra from all their tenketsu points surrounding their body in a blue chakra aura. Once released the chakra shapes into that of lion around the users body making their whole body a weapon for the gentle fist. Coming into contact with the user chakra aura instantly activates the Byakugan effect of draining chakra. In addition this technique increases the users Taijutsu's rank to specialist. (When using any using any Hyuuga techniques while in this form its rank damage is increased by one.) There is a ten post cooldown I between uses.
Weakness: This techniques requires Mastery in Taijutsu, Byakugan, and Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fist before learning this technique. In addition the user must be at least A rank and is unable to any techniques that are not Taijutsu. (Also requires the Byakugan to be active.)

Description: The user spews a stream of chakra infused gun-powder from their mouth, which surrounds the region. As the gunpowder is composed entirely of ash, it stays in the air around the victim like a cloud, which can be used like a smokescreen. After surrounding the enemy with the ash, the user can ignite it with a flint placed on their teeth beforehand to create a spark, resulting in a violent explosion, burning the enemy. However, this technique requires keen senses to read the air currents, the insight to read the movements of the enemy, the tactical experience to not also enfold one's allies in the flames, and careful attention for the timing of the ignition.

For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

A master of this technique can fire off several flames in succession and anyone caught in the technique could potentially be reduced to ashes.
