A Great View (Private)

Dray had been scanning konoha. Exploring things he had not yet discovered in konoha. Coming out of the woods, the sun was warm or more descriptively, the weather was moderate. Not too hot and neither was it too cold. It was at equilibrum. Dray looked upward to see the faces of the hokages carved into a rock but that was not what facinated him. He moved forward to see someone on top of the mountain. It was a female and she was sitting alone.
Dray body flickered to the side of the mountain as he climbed up by gathering chakra beneath his feat. He got to the top and sat beside the lady. She looked like she could use some company. she had an angelic face and beautiful long hair too. Her appearance fascinated dray as he spoke..looks like you could use some company....

The girl looked like a chatty one. Dray loved people with life in them but most importantly, people who speaked sensibly. He was about seventeen years of age so he was not somebody to be looked down upon. Konoha had surely seemed to change him. He had been brilliant in balancing his social life with his anbu life but staying in konoha and meeting new people was changing him somewhat. He was losing his anbu texture. The equilibrium of his anbu state and social state was shifting more to the social state but dray hoped all was going well.

The girl accepted dray's offer to keep her company though she seemed to have few thoughts of her own.
Dray looked at the girl as she asked him a question that she was not sure she should have asked.."You know how to heal"?.. Dray smiled at what she said calmly..
"Something like this"? dray asked emitting blue chakra to cover his right palm using th chakra scapel technique..

She gave a smug expression, "Yes."

He seemed to take her lightly, almost as if he was looking down upon her. She took it as an insult, not the words, but the manner in which he said them. She would have walked away, or even shoved him off the edge by any other means. But perhaps he was useful. He could teach her a few jutsu here and there, and she wanted to learn. "Will you teach me?"

She was not one for small talk, and did little... as they say, beating around the bush. She was straight to the point. If she found any dissatisfaction, the meeting would be concluded and she would go into the village to find another mentor.

The girl was so straight forward. Dray wondered if there was a reason behind that or maybe it was just her natural behaviour. Dray was beginning to doubt if what she had was only outer beauty. What exactly was she inside. She showed minimal feminine behaviour but dray was not one to judge hastily. He gave people room to impress him. He wanted to know if the girl was confident in her behaviour or maybe she just felt like blocking out dray. Answering his question, she asked if dray could teach her..

Seeing as there was little to nothing to do in konoha, dray accepted the request and asked another question..What exactly do you want to learn. This particular technique? How to heal? Or the concepts of medical ninjutsu itself.. he waited to see how intelligent the girl was. If she chose to learn the chakra scapel technique that dray had shown her earlier, then she could mostly use it offensively. If she picked the healing aspect, then all she would do was heal but she would not truly understand how exactly it happened but if learning the concept of medical ninjutsu was her decision, only then could she truly excel in it..

The girl was eager. She wanted to learn it all. All the technique. A fully fledged medical nin maybe.. Many walked on this path to learn about life. About healing. About human but they felt uncontented. They needed more. It led to bloodlust. The death of their fellows.. Their end was not pleasant. In konoha's libraries had dray found the history of one master medic. The one who's face was carved in the stone dray and the lady was sitting on. She was the fifth hokage. Tsunade-Sama. Grand daughter of the first Hokage. Hashirama senju. So much a library could give. Well, time to get started..

"From here on, I am your sensei though I dont like the sound of that. Am just a friend that would love to know you better. So, technically, am your teacher probably until you feel like you have learnt enough from me.. You can call me Dray.. dray smiled reassuringly..

"Medical ninjutsu also meaning iryo ninjutsu brached from a main specialization which is ninjutsu itself. It is a branch of study that deals mainly with healing. It also involves the manipulation of one's body and others' too. This branch is specifically practiced by medical ninjas but I see no reason why any shinobi should not know it.
The use of iryo jutsu requires a brilliant chakra control. If you are new to this which am sure you aren't, Chakra is essential to even the most basic technique; it is the moulding of the physical energy present in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy gained from the mind. Once moulded, it can be channelled through the chakra pathway system, which is to chakra as the circulatory system is to blood, to any of the 361 tenketsu in the body. Through various methods, the most common of which is hand seals, the chakra can then be controlled and manipulated to create an effect that would not be possible otherwise, such as walking on water,exhaling fire or creating illusions.
Through the process of nature transformation, chakra can be converted into a number of different natures but those are advanced branches of ninjutsu. If am correct that you attented the shinobi academy, then you should not have a problem with most of these.

The knowledge of medical ninjutsu can be used for a variety of purposes apart from simply healing, such as creating and treating poisons or performing autopsies or surgeries as I myself have been successful in more than one surgery which involves an enucleation and a transfusion. It can also be used in attacking a person's body directly, deranging the target's nervous system or sending them into a comatose state by overriding their body with chakra. Medical Ninjutsu in itself can also be used offensively with the use of the chakra scalpels in battle which I just showed you, overriding my opponents body with medical chakra and Tsunadehas also demonstrated the ability to use medical ninjutsu offensively and also, this healing hands could change to killing hands as I can send a killing agent into a person's body instead of an healing agent under the guise of treating them..

Dray looked sideways to the girl who might have been probably bored..Now, that is the theory part of iryo jutsu. Do brace yourself for the praticals itself.. We might need a living vessel or probably a dead one.. dray said as he stood up and stretched his right hand forth to pull up the lady..

Miuu yawned as she looked at Dray, the boy who seemed to want to be her sensei. He just seemed too young to be a surgeon or a a doctor. Maybe he was a great liar,  or maybe he told the truth. He seemed to know what he was talking about. Miuu thought back to the books at the library the other day, only to get the basics on medical ninjutsu. Maybe the techniques would be a great start. After all, she was able to concentrate her chakra by now.

She smiled, "Well, Dray, why don't you show me." He smiled was cold, emotionless and empty. She extended her hand to the ninja, only to reveal the aura around her hand. It wasn't perfect, but it was more or less the start. "Now can we kindly stop the bullshit and teach me how to save lives? Hell, even to make poisons." She stared into his eyes, something out of love, curiosity and hatred, "I need this."

The girl and dray were now standing on the mountain. The words she said discouraged dray. Just so soon, she wanted to make poison. Dray did not feel like giving her this knowledge but he hoped that he could change her. If from so little, she could think of such, what more could she think of when she grew much older. When she had attained beautiful standard in iryo jutsu through the base beginning which was what dray was about to teach her.
Tossing a coin in his mind, dray believed he could get to this girl. This girl who had not showed any sign of emotions since. Where her memories erased or what. Vowing to find out what was wrong, dray proceeded with the training.."like I said, iryo jutsu requires great chakra control. As I believed that you attended a ninja academy, you should not have a problem with moulding chakra under your feet and walking down the mountain side.." dray said. This time with no smiles. He was back to his normal self. He felt like he had started out too soft and now, the girl did not know his worth. He did not wait for anymore words. He just sprinted down the mountain with chakra gathered beneath his feet.

On his course of running downwards, he spotted a large bird flying not too high. Withdrawing four senbons from his pouch, dray shot it at the bird aiming for it' sternum so as to bring it down without much harm. Getting to the floor quickly, dray opened his palms to catch the falling bird as it's breast plates had been hit carefully.
A perfect experimenting object.. Dray thought as he waited for the little girl whose name he did not even know yet.

She sat back down, ignoring everything Dray seemed to say. He seemed to be smart, but not very strong. Watching the birds getting hit by Senbon only meant he was good with his aim. A shame really, he was beginning to become interesting to Miuu.

She sighed yet again as she began to take steps away from the cliff, slowing getting bored with her playmate. She eventually made her way to a tree, where chakra engulfed her hand, to where she began to carve the Kirigakure symbol into the ground. It wasn't much to further her training, but it was enough to advance her chakra control.

Maybe all she needed was to control her chakra. It wasn't like she knew any ninjutsu anyways.

Dray looked at the bird in his hands. It was a pretty large one. It's wings were broad as well as it's bones too.
Dray watched the girl, as every moment passed by, she seemed to piss him off but he still kept his cool. She did not use the water walking or tree climbing practice as dray had motioned her to do. She just managed to get herself down the cliff and to a tree beside dray as she engulfed her hand with chakra and began drawing on the tree. She seemed to be tracing some sort of pattern but it was definetly not coming out as she had expected. Dray knew why the pattern was not coming out. It was just like she was tracing something irrelevant. There weren't any marks in the tree. He could see the flaws in what she did.
She probably misunderstood dray and thought that she could do it on her own. She probably felt that all that was required was chakra control. It was chakra control but unlike other chakra control for other specializations, iryo medic needs a control both externally and internally but she was still controlling her chakra externally at the same time draining herself.

This girl continued effortlessly as she did not seem to mind dray. Dray was getting infuriated. Was he been looked down open because of his stature, his looks, even five foot and two inches was not something to be overlooked. He was one of the best anbus in the cloud that had never failed a mission nor rejected it. He was a master in ninjutsu, medical ninjutsu and he was the greatest master of bukijutsu in all of the shinobi world not to mention that he wielded the dreadest of the seven ninja swords of the mist. Who was she to look down on him.

With the bird in his left hand, dray would calmly withdraw samehada from his back and with a careful, but swift and powerful swing, about four trees including the one the girl was effortlessly writing on would fall on top of each other creating a high platfform that would demacated dray and the lady a bit like a table for two people that were having tea.
Without looking to see her next reaction, dray would place samehada on the plattform and proceed to his teaching regardless of if the girl looked at him or not.

Unlike other advanced medical ninjutsu, this technique am about to use requires less chakra controldray would say as he would open widely both of the wings of the uncomfortable bird. Instead of just pulling out the senbons and causing pain to this creature, you can use the tekishutsu(extraction). A technique I developed. All you have to do is use chakra to manipulate the tissue around the affected area and pull out the object without causing any further damage. dray would as he would carefully extract two of the senbons and leaving the rest two for the girl to extract..

With the bird helpless and lying gently since it could not fly yet, dray would step away for the girl to take over. He would sit on the tree platfform raising up his samehada to his lap. With no one in sight except the lady, he would untie the upper bandage and pat samehada's head as the creature would flick it's tongue slowly..

She sat there unamused, at the top of the cliff as she was before. She carved a few lines into the ground, like a mockery of the chakra scalpel technique. It wasn't much, but it was enough when she constantly switched fingers, almost testing herself.

With almost no warning the ninja appeared, swinging a large sword in his hand, cutting the trees around her. She looked up, furious that he had the nerve to do something so stupid and reckless. But then she recognized the sword.

"Unlike other advanced medical ninjutsu, this technique am about to use requires less chakra control." he told her. "Instead of just pulling out the senbons and causing pain to this creature, you can use the tekishutsu(extraction). A technique I developed. The bird appeared before her, her gaze on the sword made it unclear if it was tossed, or laid before her. She was mesmerized by the very weapon. She had to listen to him. She didn't need to know where he got it, how he got it, or how he used it. Having that sword meant he was a fighter, it meant he was strong.

She bowed her head and looked down that the bird, breaking her focus on the sword. If she was going to get her family's sword back, she would have to do everything he did. She would learn from him.

She began to pull the senbon very slowly, being sure not to rush things. "Yes, Sensei." she began to say, pulling it from the body. waiting for the next lesson.

Dray patted samehada's head softly as the creature felt relieved. It has developed a true liking to dray up that it had accepted dray, linked their chakra pathways and even allowed dray to fuse with it though that was during a training session not in an actual battle. Due to the havoc samehada and dray could wreck in shark mode, dray tried his best to avoid battles except ones that were worth fighting. The reason why he cut down those logs of wood was to show the girl his superiority. If only she could see through him directly or read his mind, only then would she be aware of what he was capable of.

Something felt weird. All of a sudden, the girl felt really calm and obedient as she called dray her sensei. Dray was suprised. What came over her all of a sudden. One minute, she was disobedient, ignoring what dray had said, doing things all on her own and even when dray cut down the trees with samehada, she didn't seem the least bit interested. Only when he loosend samehada's bandages and patted it's head did she the bones in her body seem to melt. Did she have any affiliations to the sword, any memories? There was only one that knew about Dray and samehada and that was a small jinchuriki girl in konoha that samehada had lead dray to.
Even though his student which was the lady was but a little girl, he could not underestimate her. He never estimated anybody regardless of their age, rank or village. He had the ability to know what was going on with her. All he had to do was use his mind reading technique but he did not want to. He did not want to pry into what might not be good or benefit him at least.
The girl carefully followed dray's instructions as she slowly pulled out the rest senbons from the bird's wings and waited for his next lesson.

Dray was suprised at how attentive she could be. He bandaged up samehada and put it back in it's strap on his blue high collared jacket.
He got up from the platfform and walked up to the girl. He looked straight into her eyes, he could see some emotions in there, lurking in the corners. She looked more beautiful this way but dray was yet to know what was wrong. Maybe it was time for him to play sensei. To be strict. He had tried to be soft but all she did was ignore him. Maybe the hard way would work or it was even already walking.

Without commenting on what she had done, dray would move over to the bird on the platfform that was still recovering from the senbon attacks and extraction. How unfortunate it was for this practice.
Using the chakra scapel technique, dray would engulf his right hand with his blue chakra as he would slice through the tendons attaching each of the bird's leg to it's body. There would be no blood coming out as that was the uniqueness of the chakra scapel technique. It is great in making internal cuts without affecting the skin externally. Deactivating the technique, dray would step backwards as he would fold his hands and allow the girl see what next would happen.
With no one around it, the bird would think it was free as it would try to get on it's feet but all to no avail. There would be no muscle attaching it's legs to it's body. Whether the girl was suprised as to why the bird could not stand or not, dray would proceed to the next lesson. "This technique is called the healing hands. I used the chakra scapel technique to internally amputate the bird's legs. Without healing it, the legs are just there externally. It's already amputated internally. The healing hand(chiyute) is a technique that heals burns, cuts and little bones but as this is the first stage of the healing hands, it's not yet enough to heal human bones." Proceeding, dray would gather chakra to his palm as he would slowly massage one of the affected area which was the right leg. The technique would instantly join the tendons of the leg together with that of the body.
It was fast because of dray's prowess in the medical skill. He would step backwards once again as the girl would see the bird able to stand on it's right leg but fall to the platfform again due to inbalance.
"Try healing the other leg. All you need do is gather chakra to your palm and slowly massage the area. Be sure to control of your chakra not just produce it.. dray would say to the girl. He knew the left leg would not heal at first due to the girl's level in iryo jutsu. He just wanted to see her try. He would come in when she had trouble healing it.

She watched the bird fall, only to find it could not walk. It seemed like a useful skill to mimic in battle. Throw a few hits, get in close, and sever someone's muscles. Whoever he was, he must have been an expert in the medical field, or at least in battle. It was as if everything he spoke of was out of experience and knowledge, something Miuu had taken for granted. She was ashamed for her behavior. She had to make up for her childish mistakes.

He took a step back, letting the bird fall on its' own once more. He healed on limb, just as an example of both his expertise and experience. It wasn't all from the books and scrolls, but effectively using these skills on the field.

She nodded without a word, and gave a slight bow as he reached out to the bird, her hands engulfed in an odd aura of chakra. She did just as he said, massaging the wounded area to attach the muscles. She did this for a few minutes, wondering if she had placed her hands in the right place, or if she wasn't massaging the right way or something. Something was wrong.... what was she doing wrong?

Dray would not want to admit that the girl was somehow suddenly sorry for how she had behaved. He would still kept mute and strict externally though he would not show it in his words. His gestures and expression would say it all. He had just recently developed his softness and he thought he could keep her company. Dray would remember the days back in the anbu, though he was still an anbu but right now, he would be remembering the bloody anbu days. The days of brutatily. The missions of no emotions. The time when he would put on his wolf mask. That blue and white mask that had now had a shark pattern. A compensation for his shark mode with samehada.
The moment when he would gear up fully and would appear before the raikage to become ICE... The coldest anbu in kumogakure but that was back in time. He would wonder if he was still cold though he tried to be once in a while. His light path was overwhelming his dark path. He would wonder if he was still suitable for anbu work.

These bloody thoughts would fill dray's head. He would be losing his mind. He would grab the hilt of samehada with his right hand but he would not withdraw it yet. He would simply fed it chakra as he would hear it flick it's tongue slowly as if enjoying the meal.
Dray was the one standing and visible to everyone but ice was within him cackling in a sinester manner. Dray would be feeling the blood lust moment again. His hairs would stand as his tongue would lick his lips. He would face the ground as if looking at his shadow.
His left hand would begin to cackle with unstable electricity. He had just unlocked his electricity potential and he had not even mastered it yet but his prowess in ninjutsu still allowed that raiton chakra to be available though it was not like he could use it for anything.
With dray switched inside and ICE released into the open, he would look up but the personalities could quickly be switched with ice going back in and dray coming out. Why did he stop? It was the expression on the girl's face. She was struggling with healing the bird's right leg.
Dray knew she would have troubles but that was not what bothered him. It was her will to learn. All of a sudden, she had gotten that will. Where she got it from was unknown to dray. Dray was impressed that she was finally ready to learn.
He would move over to her side calmly and wouldn't look at her as he would place his hands on her hands and engulf his hands with medical chakra. He would control her hands as both his hands and her's would massage the affected surface and in a split second, both he and the girl would feel the muscles snap back in place as dray would look at her and say.."more like this.." as he would turn off the medical chakra flow and gradually withdraw his hand from hers'.

He seemed to grab her hands to show her the proper movements to actually heal. He guided her fingers to the exact points. He seemed to be a master in the field. She just was speechless. Then he withdrew his touch from hers, she almost ask for him to return. Then the bird waddled away, and flew away. Life.... was beautiful.

Her cheeks grew pink as she recalled a story her father told her about the seven swordsmen. "You know the seven swordsmen?" he would ask her. She would reply with a smile and laugh and cheer with a- "You're a swordsman!" He would return that fatherly smile, only to tell the aged tale of the great executioner's blade, the Legacy of Haku and Zabuza of the Bloodly Mist.

She gave a small giggle at the thought of traveling with a swordsman stronger than her father. It was a dream, perhaps healing him on the run, maybe those in need in villages to make sure the sick don't die... like her father.

She looked away from Dray as the bird took flight, her hands coated in the same chakra it was before, going tired and old. It didn't exhaust her physically, but mentally. Everything was so new to her. Over the last 2 days she had devoted her life to this skill... and with Dray, she was able to reach this dream...

Both dray and the girl watched as the bird took flight..
The bird had a sense of freedom. While dray had placed his hands on the girls' to help heal the bird, he had inputed more than enough chakra to fully heal the bird. That was why it could fully fly.
Dray and miuu had been so focused on the training that they both did not notice the weather. How possible was that. As dray looked at the flying bird, he saw the change in weather. It was a shorter day, longer night situation as the sun was already setting.
The day had been a long one. He hardly had such long training sessions but the girl's will to learn did not seem to make dray tired..
He loved it when somebody put efforts into things they want. He remembered when he unlocked his ice release. It was during the chunin exams when he felt helpless. The feeling of not being able to do a thing. It infuriated him as he channeled this anger through his vein and in the process, he released his kkg.
He also remembered what led him down the path of the anbu. It was when he protected a member of kumogakure no sato's council of elders from assasins. He froze them solid when they still had life in them. It was just like suffocation. How painful that would have been. The feeling of not being able to breath.

"well, now that you know the basic, why don't we look for something bigger to treat, though we would have to injure it first.. dray would say to the girl as he would venture into the nearby forest as it was dark already..

She followed him at his side as he led her into the forest. Perhaps they could hunt an animal, a deer perhaps. And maybe with all of the water in the air, she could unlock the powers of water release. It seemed surreal and just like a fantasy. Sure he wasn't some super tanky looking body builder, but the fact that he could wield Samehada with ease proved more that just his worth.

For some unknown reason, she felt that urge... it was so foreign, so new, yet so old and unused. She reached out and hugged Dray, wrapping her arms around him for a few seconds, only to release, look away, and blush at the foolish thought. She would never have a family again, and much less a sword. She would be alone forever. He would probably forget her after the day's end, and abandon her like everyone else. That's why she kept her distance. That's why she was so cruel. She figured she hurt others before they could hurt her.

She gave a metal sigh as she looked for something to hunt and train on. Her hands coated in a dying aura of chakra. She would make it to the end of the day... maybe.

This night was very different than all other nights dray had spent in konohagakure no sato in the land of fire. The night was cold and this was not due to the cold emitting from dray's system. The cold was just natural and it was suitable for dray's condition. The night was darkening as the moon was waking up to give light to the village hidden in the leafs.
This particular feeling of this night made dray remember a night in kumogakure no sato. Under the clouds of the heavens, were he would receive the breeze of life and savour the sweet smell of sensation. The moment where he would listen to the small chirps of insects and the low coos of sleeping birds. He would look into the waters to see a reflection at the same time, his whole open body except his long black trousers that were on would bask in the light of the moon. Such a magical night it was...lo and behold, this night was set to repeat itself in konoha except that dray was with someone else which was miuu.

They ventured into the forest as dray wondered what animal could be available. His whole thoughts were based on antelopes as those were the only ones who could lurk in here. This was not exactly konoha's main forest that was filled with all species of animals. It was just a little forest that was human empty at the moment except for dray and miuu who were present.
Up ahead, dray could hear water running. A stream perharps. The chirping of different insects mixed with each other as the sounds of the smaller animals who were settling in for the night could be heard. The moon was at it's peak, showering light on dray and miuu through the many leaves above them like a spot light.
As dray moved a step forward, he felt two arms wrapped around him. All the while, he had left his raiton chakra pathway and genjutsu too opened as he was training on stabilizing them. Quick enough, this hands were retracted from his person as a bit of emotion was transferred to him. He looked to his side to see miuu who was facing away. What exactly was wrong, he wondered.. was she scared of the forest or rather more, of the dark..dray wondered.
It was not exactly dark as the light of the moon still made things pretty visible..
As dray would move closer to miuu to ask what was wrong, his guard would be slightly down as he would not notice the string of wire laying on the floor as he he moved on, he would slip over the string with his hands out to miuu as he would fall, unknowingly bringing her down to the ground and on top of him whilst looking in her eyes as to what was happening...
In this moment would the leaves of the forest fall of their trees and follow the rythm of the wind..

She thought about the sword her father held, trying to recall its shape and name. She pictured the swords in her mind, only recalling the oddest of them. There was Kiba, the twin swords, the sharpest of the seven. Then there was Kabutowari, something that looked like and axe more than a sword. Then lastly from her memory was Samehada, the most interesting of them all. It was a living creature that took the shape of a weapon, and seemed to carry its own chakra. But that was only three of the seven swords, that was four more she couldn't remember, and four more she would have to track down.

She turned to Dray, releasing her Chakra from her hands for a moment only to stumble over some wire that he had fallen over himself. He fell, reaching out to Miuu and catching her in an odd manner. He landed on his back, as Miuu landed atop of him.

She looked down at him, looking deep into his eyes. She wondered what it would be like to live on the run. She was tired of remaining in her village. She wanted something different...

She blushed as her face was just inches from his.

She couldn't wait for him. She would take a leap of faith. She reached out to his mask and lowered it. Instantly her eyes closed and she lowered her face to his, closing the distance. Her soft lips pressed against his. A quick kiss, a simple kiss. Nothing more, nothing less.

For now.

Dray was embarrased that miuu fell with him. It wasn't his intention. He had moved away from his location to stretch out a hand towards miuu only to trip over a wire and bring her down with him but maybe what happend some seconds more were not that bad.
