“Are you ready for this shit?” Shousha whispered into the ear of his younger brother as he slept. It was a bit funny how the older of the two always managed to awaken the younger when he was having the most interesting dreams. This time he was dreaming of Cherry again, thought this time was a bit different. They were a bit older, but the details were too vague for him to remember now that he was so rudely awoken by his older brother. Everything was irrelevant when Shousha was around because it seemed that whenever he was home, he just wanted to train with Grey. That was okay to the boy however, because he wanted to get stronger. He had to admit though, his body was rather sore that day and he did not want to go out and train, however this would likely be the only day this week he had the chance to do so, so he had to make the best of it in order to further increase his shinobi skills. “Okay Shousha,” he said softly. “Let’s do this.” And he made his way out of bed faster than usual. He showered the night before to relax his body, so he was able to skip out on one today, he was still clean. He had to admit that his hair didn’t look quite as good from it however. Less flare than the normal.

The two made their ways out the door and headed for the usual training spot. It was about a half mile trek before they finally reached their destination, and the two had a short conversation in the meantime. “You know Gramps isn’t very mad about your eyes anymore. He and I had a long talk about it and he seems fine now, so you don’t need to keep hiding from him anymore.” Grey chuckled as he brother spoke. A few weeks ago, when Grey unlocked his sharingan, Moki had forbidden him from ever using the ability prior. It seemed like a selfish request from the old man, but he had to admit that he somewhat understand why the guy was scared. The man only worried for the sake of his flesh, he had done the exact same when Shousha developed his Sharingan. It was nothing too much to worry about. However, he could not help but to take it extremely personally, as his own grandfather was preventing him from becoming stronger. He felt that he was being targeted exclusively by the man, though that was a rather ignorant thought and he didn’t want to think that his own family would do something like that just to spite him. He tried not to think too much about it when he didn’t have to. “Yea, its fine by now. I don’t even really care that much anymore. Im sure he wasn’t just doing it to be an asshole. Don’t worry about it.” And by then they had made it to the fields in which they preferred to train. Shousha immediately dropped all of his extra gear and swung a punch at Grey. He blocked the punch away from his face with his right, the faster of his two hands and slid his feet backwards, lowering his body into his fighting stance. He liked to stand as Bruce Lee did and practiced his own version of Jeet Kune Do. It allowed him to passively get rid of any offenses that came at him. He remembered hearing stories of the man and how he was the strongest fighter of the generations before his own. Jeet Kune Do originated in in late martial arts. After filming one season of The Green Hornet , Lee found himself out of work and opened The Jun Fan Institute of Gung Fu. The controversial match with Wong Jack Man influenced Lee's philosophy about martial arts. Lee concluded that the fight had lasted too long and that he had failed to live up to his potential using his Wing Chun techniques. He took the view that traditional martial arts techniques were too rigid and formalistic to be practical in scenarios of chaotic street fighting . Lee decided to develop a system with an emphasis on "practicality, flexibility, speed, and efficiency". He started to use different methods of training such as weight training for strength, running for endurance, stretching for flexibility, and many others which he constantly adapted, including fencing and basic boxing techniques.
Lee emphasised what he called "the style of no style". This consisted of getting rid of the formalised approach which Lee claimed was indicative of traditional styles. Lee felt the system he now called Jun Fan Gung Fu was even too restrictive, and eventually evolved into a philosophy and martial art he would come to call Jeet Kune Do or the Way of the Intercepting Fist. It is a term he would later regret, because Jeet Kune Do implied specific parameters that styles connote; whereas the idea of his martial art was to exist outside of parameters and limitations. This is what Grey truly admired. A man was able to make his own fighting style and develop a history to come with it. That was the very thing that he hoped to learn himself one day. To be the Taijutsu expert of this era was one of the things he longed for.

His brother continued to throw strikes at him, being relentless as he always was. Though, now he felt as if he was more prepared for the situation. He was able to block a tremendous amount of shots before one finally peaked in behind his defenses. Suddenly a sharp pain in his body erupted, though it was not pain from the blow. While the strike landed directly on his shoulder, the pain that exploded throughout him was in his left hand, radiating into the rest of his body uncontrollably. Though before he could target exactly where it was coming from, the pain had ceased. Sweat rolled off of his brow as he looked around. The voice from which he had heard in his dream spoke to him. “Utsukushi Uchiha… Interesting.” Said a dark voice in his mind. Though, the only issue he had with this was that it was not his own. He assumed it was his own imagination and said nothing of it to his elder brother. But this did not prevent Shousha from noticing the behavior change in his younger brother. He said nothing on the matter. “Let’s move on to something else.” The two walked a bit further into the field and found a bunch of logs to practice on. Grey found himself bloodying his own knuckles after a few powerful hits to the logs, however oddly, they were healing. He could see the skin growing back together right before his very eyes. “What the hell…” He would say in his mind. “Stop using my powers.” The voice in his head said abruptly. He hoped that he was still just imagining it at this point, though he was growing less and less sure as the instances happened repeatedly. Though, he would not allow his older brother to read into his emotions, he would suppress it and simply think back to the voice. “This is not the time, we can talk later.” And so he continued with his training, drowning out the voice from there on in. Eventually, after a good amount of hits, the log he was punching at was broken, sending splinters along the way. With his sharingan, he watched as the splinters trickled through the air, floating on the breeze slightly and gracefully until the inevitably hit the ground, as gravity had condemned them to do so. A slight smell touched his face as they fell. He had finally broken it and was rather proud of his accomplishment.

“Very good Utsukushi. Now we can spar a little bit more. “ And without further notice he rushed at the kid brother. Naturally, Utsukushi was a little slower than his brother, but he was doing his absolute best to keep up, his sharingan aiding him severely. Without it he probably would not have been able to read his brothers moves so quickly. Blows came rushing at him left and right, he blocked them one by one until deciding to use a method he had long since wanted to incorporate into his fighting style. His brother lunged at him with a quick right jab, in which he then grabbed the wrist of his brother and pulled, causing his momentum to move him. While Shousha was impressed and a bit surprised, it was not the first time he had faced someone using Jeet Kune Do and would not allow his brother to think anything otherwise. As he was pulled forward, the older launched a devastating attack to the ribs of the younger with the sharp of his elbow. Should he have not had sharingan, the chances that Grey would have been hospitalized were high, but this was not the case. His fancy eyes immediately identified the attack and allowed him to lower his arm in order to block the attack at quickly as possible. The elbow dug deep into his upper arm and a low yelp could be heard let out from the mouth of Grey Uchiha as the heavy blow rendered his arm in too much pain to move, causing him to be unable to use his left hand as the barrage of strikes continued to flood from Shousha. It seemed the brother had not yet caught on to the fact that his younger brother was unable to defend anymore, but it only took him another second to realize this. The older of the two immediately stopped and tended to the arm of the younger of the two. He moved the arm around and looked at Grey who seemed to have less and less pain in his arm by the second, as if he was healing at amazing speed. “Damn Ukutsuchi.” Grey only looked at his arm as the voice in his head spoke to him, explaining what was happening to him. The voice rumbled deeply and simply stated, “You have a long ways to go, and it won’t be easy. But it wasn’t for him either.”
