Mission Description: You've been hired as a coast guard along with five others in preparation for a raid from a band of pirates. Four of you allies are Chunin level, while the last is Jounin level. The pirates are twenty in number, but are about Genin level in regards to skill, while the Captain is Jounin level himself. They possess Water jutsu equal to their rank and wield bladed weapons. Katana's spears, scythes, etc, etc.
"Oi . . . cockadoodle doo, Rooster wake up." The voice that called him was a familiar one, one of his teammates for his Kirigakure assignment. "Go get ready for your mission, you can't be late, it's a bad look for us . . . go on, get up you lump." Ondori moaned and groaned as he grabbed the clock in the room near his bed and had the nerve to crush it. He had been restless all night, more than likely due to his eye opening encounter with Nocturne the night prior. Pushing himself up, then forcing his self out of bed, the Chunin prepared for his daily diplomatic assignment and headed out of the inn the four ninja had been staying out for the time being. Not spending much time in the streets of Kirigakure, Ondori headed straight tot he sand bar where he was supposed to the meet the others for their mission. It was quite the dangerous one, but nothing they wouldn't be able to handle, a simple Pirate cleanup and what made it better was that the ninja had knowledge the raiders were coming, while the invaders were going in blind.
A cove is where the pirates would be docking to then set up camp before their next step to raiding the cargo base, but sadly for them the raiding wouldn't be happening. "Alright listen up, this mission is basically already done for us. They'll be docking at the coves, so we'll set up a perimeter there for an ambush. Given that they will at least be a bit fatigued, even hand to hand combat shouldn't be too dangerous. Just do not engage the captain alone is all I advise other than be safe. Understand?" They all nodded and then dispersed. The cove had a unique formation. About 15m of jagged rock going upwards and an opening facing the ocean and on it's two sides. These openings had arches/doorways about 10m high leaving a lot of rock missing, but a lot of strategy possible. The roof of the cove was mostly solid, but a few holes one could slip in did exist every here and there and without a doubt one of the Chunin or Jounin would occupy it. Ondori himself however would take a position inside the cove, but on it's ceiling. Utilizing a jutsu known as Shadow Cloak, he was able to blend in with the shadows perfectly to a point that he wasn't even visible to the natural eye. After a few more calls from the ocean, the pirates finally arrived and like the Jounin predicted, they were exhausted. This is going to be too easy Ondori thought as he formed a few hand seals. With them he placed his hands in the shadows of the ceiling and upon lifting them up he held two ebony katanas in each. Now all he waited for was the Jounin's signal which was the detonation of explosive tags. The cove shook violently and some boulders and rocks rained down below onto the fleeing pirates. And as it all kicked off, the Chunin emerged from their hiding spots and Ondori descended. His shadow cloak was dispelled, but his blade of black were steady slashing. By the hand full the pirates fell and before the group knew it only four remained standing. Among them of course was the crew's captain who had suffered a few scratches, but also majorly wounded one for eh Kirigakure Chunin.
"You think the Barracuda Pirates are just a bunch of pushovers!?" His voice echoed and slowly the remaining five ninja closed in their perimeter on the remaining four pirates. "These guys may be push overs, but not me! Not Kaizen Miyamoto!" With that the man threaded together hand seals and called upon a jutsu that shook the ground for a moment before sending three lines of water out the ground in various positions around him. These positions were 12,8, and 4 o'clock and Ondori was luckily at four o clock. "Now!" The Jounin shouted. As he did so, those who didn't have to dodge rushed in, only two in number, but the captain was preoccupied using his jutsu. Cutting down his pirates, Ondori and the others had dodged and were already following close behind towards the captain, who attempted one final technique. Mid way through his hand seals he suffered a gruesome death via a five way impalement.
