KKG Name: Parasitic Insects
KKG Description: The Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique is a practice exclusive to the Aburame clan. When a child is born into the clan, their bodies are offered to insects to be used as a nest. Over the years, as the child grows, they are instructed in the clan’s techniques of the clan and pan how the insects may be used in combat. Most Aburame are inhabited by Kikaichū, however, the clan does not limit themselves to the use of just one type of insect. There are others, but they are rare and thus very few members have these rare insects within their body. When starting, one can only have access to one type of bug. They unlock the second one at B and the third at S. Custom bugs can also be made so long as they’re beetles-like in appearance.
- Bikōchū:
- The Bikōchū is an insect that use to be used by the Aburame clan but have since stopped being used due to it being an endangered species. Thus, these insects cannot be used and they are protected by the Aburame clan. They can be found in a undisclosed forest that’s uninhabited by humans, and even if one finds the forest, they are hard to find. It has an incredible sense of small, stronger than that of a dog. Bug user’s are drawn to this insect because of the fact that the first scent that the beetle detects after metamorphosis stays in its memory, so whenever it catches that scent again it seeks out the source, making it a formidable tracking device. Since no one is allowed to use these bugs, no one of the clan can be a host.
- Kidaichū:
- The Kidaichū are a species of beetle-like insects that are bred by the Aburame clan. Very few are allowed to utilize this species for their Parasitic Insect Technique due to how dangerous these insects are. Though small in size, if provided with the incorrect amount of chakra, these insects immediately begin to devour the flesh of their host/target, causing them to undergo rapid growth of giants proportions. While this trait makes them effective against targets, it also makes them troublesome to harbor within the user’s own body. This sort of bug can only be gained at B.
- Kikaichū:
- The Kikaichū is a beetle-like insect that is bred and utilized by the Aburame clan and the most important part of their unique techniques. All apart of the clan are implanted with the insect shortly after birth with the Parasitic Insect Technique, where the insect nest, feed, and breed. In return for eating the host chakra, the host is able to control and command these insects, and often uses them as their primary fighting style.
The most common use of the Kikaichū in combat is to silently ambush an opponent and drain them of their chakra before they notice the bugs at work using the Mushi Dama technique. Lower level Aburames have been seen to fail to properly drain their opponents chakra. This process can leave the victim with so little chakra that they are unable to move or fight back. Other uses include simply tracking down a target, serving as a protective shield and as a prison to hold and detain a target in place.
A female bug can be left on a target and then they can be tracked by smell, or scout bugs can be sent out and return to tell the host information about the area. Aburame members can also use their bugs to pull poison out of the body of other people; the bugs themselves are seemingly immune to poison. Thanks to the Kikaichū, Aburame clan members are experts in espionage and search-and-seizure missions. They can also be used in great numbers to jam chakra signals, interfering with the abilities of sensor type shinobi.
Since the Kikaichū only have a lifespan of a few hours, they are expendable in combat. To maintain their numbers they are constantly reproducing within their host. If large numbers of the Kikaichū should be wiped out, then Secret Technique: Insect Cocoon can be used to rapidly breed a whole new generation of the Kikaichū, repopulating their numbers. The Kikaichū is immune to Genjutsu due to their simple nervous system.
- Rinkaichū:
- Rinkaichū are a species of beetle-like insects that are bred by the Aburame clan. These insects are extremely rare and thus only two people may be the host of this insect. These insects have the power to destroy the cells of the target, causing excruciating pain in the process. Unlike the standard Kikaichū, these nano-sized insects do not act independently of the user and thus must be transferred to the target by direct physical contact; though the user only has to touch the target as the insects can circumvent most forms of clothing. This doesn’t apply to the user’s clothes however, they must instead remove items in order to effectively increase the chances of planting the insects on the target. Must be B.
- Shōkaichū:
- The Shōkaichū are one of several species of insects used by members of the Aburame clan. These insects resemble worms and can dig into the ground as well as locate chakra signatures that they report the positions of back to their respective host.
