Clan Unique Features: The Kaguya tend to have two congruent red circles in their foreheads, considered birthmarks, centered about an inch away from the top of their nose. These marks are parallel, about a half inch in diameter, and they are horizontal from each other, centered by the bridge of the Kaguya's nose. Kaguya also tend to have white hair. Most importantly, the bones of a Kaguya are extremely dense and almost indestructable, giving their bodies a high level of durability. However, a downside to this is the Kaguyas' bodies are so different from normal because of their high Calcium count that only Medical Ninjutsu from their own clan members, or Medical Ninjutsu from Adepts and above can take effect on Kaguya. If the latter is the case, Masters are only half as effective, though Specialists gain the full effect of their techniques. Because of the clan's focus on Taijutsu, their Taijutsu gains a +1 in tier. So an A2 Taijutsu user is treated as A3.

They had a tendency to glorify bloodshed and had very little structure, government, or social heirarchy. Those with the rare Shikotsumyaku were feared and locked away to be used as tools. One such Shikotsumyaku-born Kaguya was Kimimaro, one of the strongest ever to live. When Kimimaro was a boy, the Kaguya raided Kirigakure with the goal of destroying and/or overthrowing the village. The Kaguya were all but wiped out.
Kimimaro was found and taken away by Lord Orochimaru, who he had come to love and follow without question. He became a part of the Sound Five and was the only known survivor of the Kaguya clan, though there were others who were unknown at the time. Kimimaro undertook various missions at the command of Orochimaru, though he eventually fell ill. This illness was the cause of his death in his deathly fight against the Jinchuuriki Gaara and Naruto Uzumaki, over Sasuke Uchiha, the newest initiate to Orochimaru's following.
The remaining Kaguya were few and far between. They mostly went into hiding, creating their own small villages and communities, out of touch of most of the world. They were untouched by the Shinobi World Wars to come, however eventually a cultist group began to hunt down and destroy their villages, with the mission to unlock the secret to their Kekkei Genkai. The Kaguya had since quit their tradition of combat in an effort to live a more peaceful lifestyle, so they were forced to migrate to the Shinobi villages. There, they began to enlist in the Shinobi forces in an effort to protect themselves, and there their stories truly begin in the modern Shinobi era.

KKG Description: "The main capabilities of Shikotsumyaku is allowing the user to manipulate the speed of their bones' growth as well as the location of calcium deposits allowing for great versatility. This allows them to create weapons of bones that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. The user was also able to create armour of dense bone underneath their skin. They can even fire pieces of their bones as long-ranged projectiles which can have either pierce through its targets via drilling or reduce organic lifeforms to ashes the moment it strikes, without any hope of the effect being reversed.
Any bone that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the bones are removed. Although it seems it takes a bit longer for the limb to become usable again, unless the user regrows the bones consciously. Users can increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel. This not only makes the created weapons very powerful, but also makes their bodies virtually indestructible; the bones can withstand even a chakra-infused blade, which is usually enough to cut through anything. Those who possess the Shikotsumyaku, in addition to Kekkei Genkai-specific techniques, possess the innate and passive ability to generate and remove bone as described in the quote from the Naruto Wikia above. One can regenerate bone in one of two ways: They can wait for two posts after the one they removed a bone in to regenerate without chakra, or they can instantly regenerate at costs specified below. Bones people are capable of removing are also listed below.
Cooldowns for instant regeneration are as follows: Extremities induce a 1 post cooldown. Other non-spinal bones require 3 posts of cooldown, and spinal bones require 5. At Master, this is all reduced by 1.
NOTE: The skull cannot be removed safely in anyway, though it can be manipulated at adept to give the user things like horns.

Description:By modifying one of their upper arm bones to create a short, bone-hilted bone sword, the user will then stab chaotically and continuously which causes the opponents eyes to lag behind. The speed resembles afterimages, the hand with the sword is again and again visibly projected. And yet the movement is irregular which makes it difficult to predict. With each thrust the sword's track is very capable of changing. The attack comes from unexpected angles, causing a person's delicate defense reaction to come off guard. Though one can have great reflexes and moving ability, it is next to impossible to keep dodging the fierce attack until it stops. Thus if one showed an opening, a finishing blow will be dealt by one stab in an instant.

Description:The first half of Kimimaro's fourth dance. With the Shikotsumyaku, Kimimaro can modify and pull out his own spinal column, and regrow a new spine to replace it. Between the bones in the gaps there is cartilage that allows flexibility, which makes it possible to bend it as if it were a whip. With average estimation skills along with the impossible range it stretches, dodging is difficult. The protrusions on the vertebrae are modified to make them stronger and sharper.

The stronger the opponent's physical attack, the more powerful the counter attack is, dealing severe damage. The sudden defence, combined with the needle-like bones high killing ability, makes way for a technique which potential his high for battle. The bones can be used to block or trap an opponent's strikes. In addition to being an unwelcome surprise for opponents, it makes him basically untouchable at close range. If an opponent would start to get close to him, he would start to spin rapidly slashing the foe in multiple areas of their body.

Description:The first of Kimimaro's five dances. To perform this dance, Kimimaro grows several long bone blades from his body for use as weapons. There isn't any set form for the Willow Dance. Just like a willow that is shaken by the wind, the opponents attacks are simply parried and countered. Uncharacteristic of a willow, the hardened bones puncture and damage the opponents body. Though he primarily uses two blades grown from the palms of his hands, he also uses several secondary bones grown from his elbows, knees, and shoulders. This dance form is incredibly acrobatic, using spins, charges, and long sweeping slashes to make the strikes more effective and to evade opponents' counter strikes. -Requires 40 chakra to regenerate instantly. - Intermediate: Knees and elbows up, as well as the ribcage and pelvis area.
