Hebidoku Nara-Konoha Anbu-Finished. Looks10

Hebidoku Nara-Konoha Anbu-Finished. Senjumaru_shutara_line_art_by_beyondyourmemory-d5mlido

Height: 6 feet
Weight: 135 lbs
Description:

Hebi's appearance is that of beauty, modesty and intimation all at the same time. Her body is tall and thin, much like a stick-figure (if the stick figure was tall and fit), yet it manages to not appear frail, and Hebi's tall height can actually make her quite imposing to some. Despite her thin body-shape, she does not appear very rigid, and actually looks quite healthy. Though her clothes usually conceal it, Hebi has an hour-glass shape, her body still fit and strong. Her skin is flawless and perfect, extremely pale in complexion yet with no scars, freckles or anything of the sort.

Hebi's face is very pointy and blocky, though no less flawless then the rest of her body, with the single exception being a group of freckles beneath her eyes. Her cheeks are rosy, her lips full and her eyes are sharp, constantly in a glare or scowl, with a rare exception every now-and-then. The woman's iris are a dark emerald color. The jet black hair which falls neatly down from her scalp down to her waist much like a waterfall is smooth and silk-like, and also includes long bangs which reach down to her shoulders.

In terms of her attire, Hebidoku prefers to dress similarly to a feudal japanese empress. She dons a white Haori which flows down to the ground, atop her black kimino. Both of these are worn neatly and are un-creased. Though she enjoys walking bare-footed for the feeling of fresh air in her feet, Hebi usually wears golden-yellow sandals to protect her feet from all the little stones and other nuisances of the floor.

Her Anbu outfit is more formal. It is the generic anbu cloak, jet black, with a white mask that extends outwards to a point, like the beak of a bird.

Hebidoku Nara-Konoha Anbu-Finished. Person10

Personality Description: At first glance, Hebidoku appears quite unlikeable, and certainly very stoic. Her first impression to many people is something along the lines of "I hope I don't meet her again.". Usually silent and withheld, she prefers not to speak, and lets her combination of imposing appearances and menacing glances do all her talking for her. Though not really speaking her opinion much, if you say something that Hebi disagrees with, you will notice it, be it through a quick glance, a sinister scowl or the clearing of her throat.

The few moments this woman does speak, however, it is usually not for anything nice. It is clear that Hebi is not really a believer in praise, and mostly spends her time chastising others about their foolish antics. Her words, few as they may be, make it clear that she seems to have a down-to-earth, no-nonsense personality. Very strong-willed, Hebi rarely shows regrets over her actions and seldom does she change her mind after making a decision.

However, to say that she is emotionless would be an immense understatement. While she seems to enjoy playing along with her sneaky little façades, Hebi did not earn her nickname by being stoic and imposing. She earnt it by being sneaky and deceiving. When she finally removes her mask, it is as if one is staring at a different person. Hebi is openly mocking, not holding back any witty comments she comes up with, and also quite teasing, enjoying playing around with people's heads.

She enjoys making sarcastic remarks, and shows even a slight hint of sadism, though not completely on the level of a murderer or criminal...not yet anyhow. She also shows a bit of a pessimistic side though Hebi never allows this to interfere with her "games", unless defeat is an absolute certainty. Hebi is quite infamous in konoha for being sly, deceitful, tricky and even downright mischievous. Not above complex ploys or just complete...for lack of a better term...mind-fuckery, Hebi is truly deserving of the name "Snake".

Below her exterior of ploys and mischief lies and even darker side, which is more representative of the "Venom" part of her name. Firstly, she can be very spiteful, and is known to hold grudges for well over a year even over the most minuscule of things. She also lacks true pity, never sparing a few ryo for those less fortunate, nor showing mercy to someone at a disadvantage.

At her core, however, Hebi can be a true monster.Though her temper is long, and few people have actually managed to truly anger her, when she gets enraged, you close your eyes and pray to whatever gods you believe in, along with the ones you do not believe in. She drops all sense of mercy she may ever have had before, and will try anything, as long as the end result is her victory. This even includes the death of innocents, though she seems to have more restraints on this.

Hebi, despite all her unlikeability, seems to show great pride in her village, and insulting it is what truly makes her angry unlike anything else. Despite ALLLL this, however, beneath all her icy cold layers, and layers, and layers of mean...ness, there exists a semblance of warmth and understanding that s shared between the few people she cares about. Good luck managing to reach in and drag it out without first having your arm ripped off, however.

On the subject of the good things about her, let's talk about her likes and dislikes. She seems to have a powerful stomach, and almost sees eating the spiciest foods as a hobbie, or a game, though she is by no way obsessed over the foods. She actually has a large dislike for alchohol, as she feels it "completely changes who I am.", and would rather die than be caught drinking sake, or any beverage of the sort.

Hebidoku dislikes insects, and exhibits a slight hint or arachnophobia. She also has an interest in darkness, particularly with shadows, which stemmed from her clan's Kekkai Genkkai.

Favorites: Sarcasm, Spicy food, Messing around with people's minds, the color green, shadows.

Hebidoku Nara-Konoha Anbu-Finished. Backgr10

History:

"Poor? When I was a child, I did not know the meaning of the word."

Hebi was born into this world by one of the more fortunate families of konohagakure, who were part of the Nara Clan, and were known for being skilled shinobi. When it came to tactical prowess, Hebi's family excelled at it unlike anyone else. Even Hebi, from a very young age, already showed some tactical genius and cunning. Therefore it came as no surprise to everyone when Hebi decided to put her intelligence to use and become a shinobi.

And so, upon request, Hebi was entered into the ninja academy. As is the case with most first days, Hebi found it awkward at first, but soon settled in, and began to grow to prominence within the small academy in the village. Even then, however, the girl was still not much of a people's person, and still had trouble making any true friends. But that didn't matter. She was making progress in life. That is what mattered.

Though her upbringing was generally simple, and Hebi mostly received what she requested, she was still partially home-tutored by her parents in the shinobi arts. Therefore, it could be said she had a certain advantage over the other students, which was shown during all of her examinations, which she passed fairly easily. This only helped to boost her ego, and thus she became much more arrogant than she likes to admit in hindsight. Though Hebi refers to it only as a "slight gain in confidence.", it really was much more than that. This, as one could guess, did not exactly make her very popular.

And so, months flew by as Hebi passed examination after examination, until finally she graduated, being placed in a team with three others who, during a time in which Hebi considered everyone who was not Hebi to be inferior, she considered fools and buffoons, though in reality they where all quite skilled.

The next few weeks of starting  out as a genin went by slowly. Hebi, along with the rest of her team, longed to be going out and doing something important. Instead, they found themselves entrusted with the perilous tasks of...walking dogs and saving cats from trees. To say it was degrading would be a severe understatement. But, they got through it, and the boredom gave them so little to talk about that they did what many would believe unthinkable.

They began to interact with each other like friends.

Indeed the beginning of their time as a team, a full unit, had been rather...sour. Nobody seemed to trust each other, in particular Hebi. Whilst this may have seemed common for all teams who were just starting out , Hebi's team in particular seemed to take longer than usual to become accustomed to...each other.

But against all the odds, and out of pure boredom from the lack of any actual "missions.", the team were able to begin forming a strong bond. That bond would only be reinforced over the next year or so, until it became announced that the chunin exams would be held. All giddy with excitement, the train set about immediately to training.  While at first, they all seemed evenly matched, Hebi's experience and natural talent set her apart from the other two, which seemed to give birth to  sort of hostility which the trio had not experienced for months.

The next few weeks where spent training separately, often leaving Hebi to ponder if their "bond" had been true, or if it would eventually shatter. Luckily, however, the three came to a truce and dedicated the last remaining weeks they had to training together, and becoming as powerful as possible for the upcoming exams. And so, as time flew by, though probably not because they where having much fun, the exams began.

The first test was a written test, something which none of the three had ever prepared for, yet none of the three had much difficulty with either. It was not meant to be difficult, anyhow, more like an ice-breaker, a warm up. Well, from then on, the ice was broken, and everybody was well warmed up.

The next test was a tournament-style match, in which half of the competitors would be gone. The battle Hebi participated in was not that difficult, and her foes seemed to be a novice, so she of course won with little effort. The next fight, however, one of her team-mates lost. The rest of the fights were not very notable. The loss of one of their teammates dealt a small blow to the two remaining members, but thy understood that they would have to continue,

The final test was a battle-royale, where every single student who had survived the tournament would be pitted against each other at the same time, with multiple people in the audience secretly examining a certain individual and deeming them worthy of the Chunin title....or not. Hebi recalls her heart racing as she stepped on her single, meter-wide pad, staring at some competitors she knew, and then hearing the bell which indicated the battle had begun.

After roughly half an hour, the fighting was over, and everyone seemed to be either injured, panting or laying on the floor. It was the first time Hebi had confronted this many opponents, the first time she had been within such chaos, barely able to register the movements of...anybody! It certainly was difficult, but if she was to become a Chunin, Hebi would have to win this.

Eventually, by either luck or fate, she passes the exams, and becomes a Chunin. So...what happens next? Well....not much. For some reason, there is an odd period in Hebi's life in which she simply becomes...detached from her team-mates. She seemed to revert back to her hidden, unlikeable self from back when she was a child, and did not socialise nearly as much with people.

However at the same time, the woman grew as a Shinobi and within no time, she was promoted to the rank of Jonin. Soon after, however, her along with a group of other ninjas were ambushed in a forest. The entire group was killed with the exception Hebi, who not only managed to kill one hostile, but managed to steal an information scroll from him as well.

However, this was not the end of her problems. The forest was still surrounded by rogue ninjas and other enemies of the village, all of whom wanted her dead, or wanted the scroll back. But Hebi knew better than to engage them. For nearly a whole year, she was able to evade their searches, sustaining herself with whatever mother-nature felt merciful enough to deliver. And then, when it finally seemed the enemies had given up, she decided it was time to return to her home.

Upon her return, the hokage noticed her skill, determination and cold ruthlessness, deciding she was a perfect candidate for an Anbu. And so here, on her appointment as Anbu, is where Hebi's descent into darkness truly began.

Key Events:  Graduating ninja academy, forming her team, doing missions, forming bonds with her team, training for the exams, entering the chunin exams, passing the exams, becoming detached from her former team, being ambushed in the forest, evading her pursuers for nearly a yea, returning to Knohoa and being appointed the rank of Anbu.
