While he hated being the bearer of bad news, it had to be done. Today Grey was forced to go about and collect taxes from the villagers. Luckily he was not alone on this venture, for his brother would be tagging along with him in order to make sure he was not killed by some greedy villager. Nothing of that sort would happen while he was on the job. The job was pretty simple and he was sure that his younger brother could indeed handle it by himself, but he liiked to be there to help him and spend time with the younger whenever he had the chance. Grey awoke just like every other morning, cranky and not ready to go out into the world. He slumped out of bed, but he caught the holy ghost in his legs and fells to the floor before he couldstand. He was now laying on his neck, yet hal;f tempted to go back to sleep. However, he knew Shousha would kill him if he did so. He quickly decided against it. He rose from the ground and made his way to the rest room of which he would prepare as quickly as possible. He stretch before making his way in there and stripped his boxers beefore getting into the shower. The water was warm on his flesh but he didnt mind in the slightest. It felt really nice to have the hot sting of water on him, perhaps it was his fiery blood craving some form of being cooled off despite the fact that the water was still hot. After his shower he did his hair and brushed his teeth after drying off with the towel given. He made his way back into hi sroom and put some clothes on before meeting his brother in the kitchen. He was eating a medium sized bowl of hot cereal and he seemed to be enjoying it a great deal. "Have you had these Dinosaur egg coatmeal things yet?" Asked Shousha, though when he asked his mouth was full. Grey shook his head signifying that he had not and contiuned to the top of the fridge to grab a bowl of frosted flakes. He nee=ded something quick as it seemed that Shousha was already almost ready to go and he didnt want to keep his older brother waiting for too long. It was something inside of him that did not want to let hgim down. So he scarfed down his cereal and made his way for the door at the same time that his brother did. He opened the door for the older of the two and as Shousha made his way out, he followed behind. "Your first assignment is actually our next door neighbor so have fun with her. A real crabapple that one." Grey looked at him as if he didn't understand. "It means she's sour you dummy." And Grey chuckled as his brother threw the insult at him. As he walked, he thought of his dream from the night before. cherry wa there, it was nice, The two were alone in the park and sharing sandwiches together. It was relatively eventless, but mayeb that was what he liked the most about it. It didnt have to have much detail to be important, it was meaningful either way. He knocked on the door of which he was to deliver the letter. "Hello, Mrs. Crabapp- I mean Wohana. Are you here?" And then he heard footsteps come towards him slowly. The door slowly opened and a large woman glared down at him. "Yes!? What do you want boy?" She asked menacingly. He smiled and said, "I'm here to collect your taxes for the month." She looked down at ihm with a scowl and one eye twitched. "Fine, here they are." She turned around to grab papers from a smalkl tray behind her. When she did, he hairy back was revealed. Grey cringed but made no noise. From the driveway, Shousha laughed near uncontrollably. He almost fell out from amusement. She turned back around and both had smiles back on their faces, though for different reasons. "Here you go boy. You better not steal that. I kknow your name Uukkusuku." As soon as the door closed, Grey burst into laughter just as Shousha did. He ran up to him and petted the head of his kid brother. "Nice job Ukuksuku." He said with a grin.
