Karma wasn’t amused by whomever had decided to release salt crocodiles into a building filled with children of various ages. She also wasn’t amused by the administration, for to miss a strange figure who shouldn’t be there releasing three fully grown crocodile had to speak of the incompetence on the part of the staff. This shouldn’t had been possible, not with the building filled with staff of various skills, one of them should had noticed something, but it had happened anyways and thus the young Himitsu contemplate rather or not the staff were blind. Though the curriculum for the academy had been improved upon, it seemed like those paid to teach and protect the students couldn’t be trusted with the children. As she walked down those bleak halls for the first time since she had graduated, Karma had a feeling that a lot of people would soon need to find another career path.
She continued down the hall, the blood of her previous two crocodile victims dripping from her hand and kunai onto the pristine white floor, blood was smeared on her orange hoodie and blue shorts though she didn’t seem to notice. At the moment Karma had one mission and one mission alone, and that was to rid the academy of the danger that had been unleashed upon the school. The students weren’t in any real danger, the staff smart enough to lock the children into their classrooms, which allowed Karma to conduct the mission in peace and without fear of a crocodile attacking a student. Unless a student had managed to elude the teachers or the final crocodile had managed to break down a door. The student was more plausible, and at the thought of a child wandering the halls of the academy had her quicken her pace.
One crocodile, just one more left and she could give the all clear for the staff to unlock the doors and allow the students to return to their respective class. Just because there was a problem now didn’t mean that school would be cancelled for the rest of the day. Education was far too important to Kirigakure and the administration to allow something like a terrible prank to end classes. It was what Karma liked about the school, though they could teach more challenging techniques than those E-rank ones, though those techniques were useful in their own right. Karma suddenly paused, eyes picking up the final crocodile. She gripped her kunai tightly as she quietly advanced towards the creature. She needed to take it by surprise so she could flip it over and cut it’s underbelly, the top being to tough for her kunai to get through it, something that she had learned fairly quickly since it had almost cost her an arm.
Karma closed her eyes, sighing deeply before her eyes snapped open, and with a distance of ten feet, the Himitsu was upon the crocodile. It writhed around and attempted to roll, trying to get her off, but it only gave her access to it’s underbelly. With one swift movement, the kunai was shoved into the underbelly and pushed down, creating a slit. The crocodile continued to struggle, but with it bleeding out, the struggles would soon stop and the life was sucked out of the creature. She was on her feet, kunai dropped to the ground, and she stepped over the corpse, heading for the one person who would be the most thrilled about the threat being eliminated, the principal.
